a compromise over gun legislation has cleared the virginia house. three bills were approved allowing more concealed-weapon permit holders to legally carry guns in the state. this expands the number of concealed handgun permit reciprocity agreements virginia has with other states. the legislation also prohibits people subject to a protective order from carrying guns and requires police presence at gun shows for voluntary background checks. critics of the legislation worry the deal will make residents less safe. nearly one-hundred new jobs are heading to suffolk. emser tile will invest more than 16-million dollars, to make an east coast distribution center in centerpoint intermodal center of suffolk. virginia beat out south carolina for the project. mayor william sessoms announced today: 100 new jobs are being added in virginia beach. this comes as a result of the
