if he can win. virginia beach police are investigating an early morning abduction. we're told the female victim is now safe - but they're looking for the suspects. police are trying to find someone they say spoke to four people possibly involved. detectives say the abduction happened around 1-30 in the morning last monday along virginia beach boulevard. investigators believe the male witness spoke to the suspects near a light colored 4-door car. that encounter happened between 1- 30 and 2-30 a-m on february first in oceana gardens. if you have any information --- call the crimeline. the national transportation safety board will launch a second search for el faro. you recall the cargo ship sank in the atlantic during a hurricane in october. it was found in about 15-thousand feet of water near the bahamas almost a month later. the navy and n-t-s-b ended its search in november -- without finding the ships black box. a second search is expected to begin in april -- and will last about two weeks.

when the ship went down -- including a man from virginia beach. a police officer in georgia was shot and killed this morning. it happened at an apartment complex in the atlanta suburb of riverdale. officials say the officer was not wearing a bullet-proof vest. he was shot twice. once in the arm -- and once in the chest. a suspect was also shot -- and is in critical condition. he was wanted on an outstanding drug warrant. new information in the fight against the zika virus -- two american women who contracted the disease suffered miscarriages. the women became infected with the zika virus while miscarried after returning to the u-s. a spokesperson for the c-d-c confirms - the virus was found in the placentas. miscarriages have already been reported in brazil - considered the epicenter of zika virus outbreak. the nation's top health officials - on capitol hill for a second day. yesterday it was the house. today -- a senate committee -- asking the tough questions about the threat of the zika virus. experts testifying about
