viewer shows the scene on grimes road thursday morning. around 8:30, police say a 13-year-old girl assaulted a 59-year-old school bus driver. the driver went to the hospital but was expected to recover. a neighbor didn't know what was going on. >> a police car outside of my van here. the bus in the middle-of-the-road. the fire truck was behind my van over here. erin: police say they are still investigating the case. they charge the integrator with assault and battery and released her. she was not hurt. the hampton school division says the bus had about the students on board and was headed to simms middle school, but stopped when the incident happened. the school department issued a statement saying, "that the student's behavior was unacceptable." the school division says there is video from the bus, but they won't be releasing it because of a privacy act.
