addition to the man and woman's serious injuries -- one of the two dogs inside the home died. nats strong flames ripping through the backside of this home on victoria drive in virginia beach. that's what firefighters arrived to around 4:30 saturday morning. investigators say two people and two dogs were inside the home when it all started. gabrielle west/neighbor ((c38 01:26)) "all i saw were flashing lights through my window." neighbors like gabrielle west waking up with a lot of questions. ((c38 01:38)) "is everybody okay? what about the dogs? what's going on?" fire officials say the woman made it out before they arrived -- but the trapped inside. firefighters say they busted out a front window -- jumped in -- and pulled him to safety.

figure out how this fire started. right now, we're told it appears to be accidental in nature. live in norfolk, i'm joe fisher, 10 on your side. we have new information about an early morning 2-alarm fire. around 12:30 this morning norfolk firefighters went to a business fire on north military highway. look at how big the flames are shooting from the roof. heavy black smoke and fire was coming from the loan max building when firefighters got to the scene. it took crews nearly two hours to get the fire under control. nobody was hurt. the fire is still under investigation, but it's considered to be a complete loss. we continue to follow developing news from chesapeake. police continue to look for a man who they say robbed at least five 7-eleven stores. here are three of the five locations that were robbed overnight. we're still working to get the other two stores that were robbed. police are looking to the public to help solve this string of robberies. 10 on your side's matt gregory is live from chesapeake with more on the
