send you a message on your phone and then when it was lifted. >> connecting the dots in a series of meth lab busts in newport news. the latest you saw this morning from sydney place. one man, tanner meeks is under arrests. it follows three arrests. joel fisher with an update on the latest bust. joe? joe: what everyone wants to know with all of the meth busts is if they are all connected. newport news police are shying away from connecting them all but they are saying that information they obtained through interviews have led them to each of these busts along the way. >> it was lit up it was like daytime in the middle of the night.

they stay up all night. joe: this comes after two busts on middlesex road. austin wells was arrested after finding meth-making materials in her car. on tuesday, police found another meth lab across the street and arrested two others. >> any time people are behaving in a strange way and using drugs they are going to get caught sooner or later. i just wished it had been sooner than later. joe: that woman telling me she is thankful that man is locked up and not living across the street and the hazmat materials won't cause any more trouble here any longer. all four people are facing felony drug charges. i'm joe fisher, 10 on your side. chris: police are looking into

your side broke last night. the norfolk officer accused of indecent exposure is off the streets and on administrative duty. the off duty officer exposed himself to her in the parking lot of walmart. she said the incident happened last saturday afternoon and adds she never saw the man's face. no charges have been filed so far. >> a follow up to car break-ins at virginia beach. a second security guard has been hired to patrol garages after two dozen break-ins on main street. guards will roam overnight through five garages on foot and in cars. chris: a headstone dealer faces more time behind bars and he is not done yet. >> reporter: for the next seven year, road projects like the one behind me will become more common to the tune just

chris: back now with an update on the longterm plan to alleviate traffic. >> we are still a few years away from big projects and a lot further off than initially thought like a third crossing and will there be more tolls? matt gregory has the latest. matted? matt: you will see more road projects across hampton roads. a group that prioritizes those projects got together and made a schedule of sorts to decide which projects will be done and where. how will they be paid for? will they be using tolls? for that, they had a plan as well. >> it brings us into a first-phase funding. matt: for months, kevin page sat looking at the plans for hampton roads.

transportation accountability commission, it is his job to get projects going. >> that sense of concern of not doing anything, we have to move forward with what we know. matt rves this, the planning organization put together a plan for the region's roads. >> that will allow us to have the peninsula project fully constructed within the next six years from exit 255 going westward to exit 234. matt: from there, the two groups planned and put money aside for the 264 interchange and the high-rise bridge widening all to be completed in six to seven years time at a cost around $1.8 billion paid for by gas taxes and state and federal help. >> we can use resources to

preclude tolling but not have it in the plan. matt: what about the harbor? >> we hope the statement will be concluded by 2016. matt: that could take 20 years just to complete a plan to unlock the future of hampton roads. those six projects won't require tolling to be completed. as far as the third crossing, well, they are looking at studies that will fund that, which could include tolling. we'll follow this story as it develops. matt gregory, 10 on your side. don: ashley baylor alerted me to this fact, the news coming out of the chicago area. they had windows blown out because they had 70 miles an hour winds. it is 49 miles an hour in

gary, indiana, has 68 miles an hour winds so this will likely make nightly news but that is a real, real big thing and they had record warmth. for us, no record warmth. no big winds for us. you can see one thing going on. today, that upper wind flow is through here so the warmer air that was trapped farther to our south is lifting northward and we're looking pretty good and warming up in a big way. tonight at 9:00, light, southerly wind at 10 miles an hour. southwest winds at 10-15 and gusty tomorrow, not like chicago's 60-70 miles an hour. we're going to see a breeze, 10-20 at times. here is where we are at 3:00. 64 degrees. a nice, nice warm day for tomorrow. into sunday and it gets warmer still. 5-10 miles an hour winds.

as the sun dog and we saw this last night. it is a refraction of crystals and a beautiful sunset ongoing right now. brilliant out there. look at what is going on, 40-45 degrees. a little bit warmer right now. 46 in chesapeake and suffolk. highs around 47. we'll drop rapidly through the low 40's and hold there overnight. it is not likely to be a supremely cold night like it was last night. last night it was 24 inland and 32 degrees around the coastline. the coastline had temperatures hold up with the breeze off of the water. tomorrow, a bit of a breeze and temperatures will warm up to 64 in the afternoon. a real nice day coming up tomorrow and a real nice day coming up on sunday. more rain in the overnight hours.
