they forced her to drive to atm, where she got away. tom: a follow-up to t yesterdays mets led investigation and norfolk. one man is under arrest, while another is under investigation. this all began when a man took out a warrant on his partner or assault. police went to the home and that is when they found the meth lab. the other man was issued a summons for frequenting a drug house. nicole: lower temperatures. it can feel it when the wind blows. we will be watching the skies for something rain overnight and more wet weather after that. don slater checking unsettled weather for us. don: this will not be a huge event, especially tomorrow night and tomorrow morning. we will have a little bit of rain that i will show you.

reporter: it appears true dedication is to run and to win. tom: frequent critic councilman says he will not support him or run against him. investigating how absentee ballots were sent to some voters already sold out. some test ballots and official bonds were sent in the same box, not labeled correctly. according to elections officials, 17 voters got the wrong ballot, but he mistake will not impact the election. >> you have to have faith in the process. when you have human beings, you will have human error. this is a small number of ballots that went out in error,

nicole: officials say they have identified the vultures like the wrong ballot, and they are working to get the correct ones. tomorrow is the deadline to request an absentee ballot. tom: donald trump will be at the university wednesday, and bernie sanders will be in norfolk tomorrow. sanders will hold a midday rally , doors open at 9:30 a.m. the event is set for noon. tickets are not required. there are no more tickets for trumps event on wednesday. nicole: still ahead, a new leader for the local police department. we will look at her priorities, coming up. >> when police make a dui stop, they often have extra expenses that go to the city, maybe a tow truck, etienne ambulance. you are paying for it. i will investigate a better way

they are leaving money on the table by failing to fine. the franklin police sergeant wanted dui offenders to reimburse the city for services related to their crime. >> i knew this was money that could be collected, and it would not take much effort to collect it. >> the city passed the law, and he even won an award for his idea. if you'd years later he wanted to see how the ordinance was heldlping the balance sheet. >> nothing is being done. chris: it is on the books, but it is not being imposed. so instead of saving money -- >> i wasted taxpayer money to do this research.

why the dui find those unused. >> we're not surprised by the fact that it is not applicable, or has not been applied on a regular basis. limits. >> we have to streets in the entire city that have a speed limit that is about 35 miles an hour -- of the 35 miles inabove 305 miles per hour. we do not have that many places you can go and drink. 8500 people. so we went and looked at those other places that could benefit from this. virginia beach used in law to collect $27,000 last year. >> it is not a large sum of such as ours, anything helps.

first thing tomorrow, during most of the day, here is our future track computer model. around 45, 50 degrees. we are at 47 degrees at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. the rains becoming more widespread after midnight. and then just scattered, 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, i'm going closer to 52 degrees. this is updated to closer to the low 50's throughout the day for tomorrow. now we go into wednesday, no washout. 46 to start the day, at 7:00 a.m. by the noon hour, 53 degrees, 55 degrees. it will also be windy, and that southerly winds will warm things up into the upper 60's to around 72 degrees throughout the day. it is that warm, coming up on wednesday during the day, we are likely to see some rumbles of

we watch for that as things progress on wednesday. that is where we are by wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. we will go to later in time, thunderstorms could move in overnight. it is relatively quiet overnight. by 7:00 a.m. thursday morning, and into friday, things are looking pretty good. no more rainfall throughout the area. it looked like rain as we approach sunset, and clouds are moving in. temperatures around 44 degrees to 50 degrees in the area. made 40's -- mid-to-upper 40's for most of us, 45 in our region. everybody is pretty much the same, 45 degrees to 50 degrees.
