before 2:00 this afternoon as a precaution. the fire department and police officers searched the school but new information out of virginia police. line. he wanted out after being in jail over the weekend -- he bonded out after being in jail over the weekend. a 17 year veteran of the force was found to be on the basement police were called to pick her up. her blood alcohol level was .23, which is almost triple the legal limit. tom: the trial against a former officer hit a snag today. a javascript it a motion for continuance, and that means the trial that was sent to start march 21 is now pushed back to august. her witnesses are not available in march. she also asked the judge to limit his ability to testify about william chapman's alleged shoplifting which happened before he arrived on the scene.

erin: he says his deputies read the report of a robbery at a gas station monday at the valero near the york county line in williamsburg. he went to check it out. >> and turn on the vehicle, followed it, stop the. that katherine traffic stop led to the arrest of william hayes for the robbery of the bolero that morning and five of the previous robberies in york county. erin: inside his car, investigators found a surgical mask, a loaded gun, and two wigs. >> in most of these robberies, he was wearing a surgical mask. so that was the piece that really brought it all together. erin: deputies think he is behind to armed robberies at the gas station on george washington memorial highway and one at the exxon on big bethel road. another at the show on hampton highway, and a robbery at the quick count last week.

any of these bands of thunderstorms could create damaging winds so we want to watch out for that. there will be patches where the skies clear. sunshine is our friend. that means the atmosphere starts heating up in the air starts rising creating bigger thunderstorms. you can see it in the neighborhood of i-95 and east and starting to push out of the region. 30 mile-per-hour winds and 70 degrees. northward closer to the williamsburg area by 9:00 over top of the hampton roads area. 20-30 mile-per-hour winds. by the midnight hour, it is gone. still rather windy, but big thunderstorms are gone. thursday is just fine. a little bit on the breezy side and a little cooler around 56 degrees, but not a bad day coming up thursday. it will not be back tomorrow until we get to the thunderstorm part, and that will be about 24 hours from now. one measure of how strong
