with shot out windows. tonight, police say there's dozens more and they need your help. ony on 10 - joe fisher has the latest details from investigators. joe. stephanie, laura -- police are sharing what few leads they have with us as they try to track those responsible down. we've learned since february first -- vandals have damaged more than 70 cars in the fox hill, willow oaks and buckroe areas of the city. here's a look at the damage people were waking up to last weekend. shattered glass and hundred of dollars in damage for drivers. many of the victim's vehicles were parked on the streets. only 10 on your side can show you pictures from witnesses of a dark colored mid-size pickup truck, that police say could be involved. the damage has been reported on more than 40 streets across the city -- a total of 73 cars damaged. sgt. matt bond/hampton police department "we do plan on stepping up patrols in these areas

lanes. an s-u-v hit the car and then hit the bus shelter. no one was in the shelter at the time. the driver went to the hospital. she should be okay. police charged her with making an improper lane change. a developing story in newport news. police say two people were shot overnight in the same incident. investigators were called to jefferson avene near langley avenue around 12:30 this morning. they found a 50-year-old man shot in the thigh. he should recover. a few minutes later, another gunshot victim, a 34-year-old man, walked into a local hospital. police say he was shot in the chest and stomach. he's in critical condition. norfolk police are looking for the man who robbed a pizza delivery driver. detectives say it happened around 1:00 this morning on picadilly street. the chanello's driver says he was delivering a pizza when a man approached him with a gun and demanded money. the driver was not hurt. if you can help police --- call the crime line. norfolk police are investigating an undetermined death in ocean view. detectives say e-m-s got a medical call around

home on west ocean view avenue on willoughby spit. police are making sure there's no foul play involved. a 10 on your side follow-up to a case we've been covering since 2014 is new at 4. the man deputies say mistook his neighbor for a deer and killed him - has pleaded guilty to involunatary manslaughter. investigators say brandon bartlett shot and killed david ware junior in 2014. deputies found ware's body on lakeside drive in the grafton area of york county. bartlett will bentced in july. a woman is on trial in chesapeake for stealing thousands of dollars from her employer. police say mandi flowers worked for people's auctn company until her bosses fired her in 2015. the owner says she changed the books to hide the thefts. flowers attorney told us, she's done nothing wrong. opening statements in the trial started today. we're working to find out more about a fire in currituck county. witnesses sent 10 on your side this video of flames pouring from a barn or garage on caratoke

have shot and killed two women who attacked police. security camera footage shows the woman firing at a police bus outside a station in istanbul. they also hurled a hand grenade that didn't explode. two police officers have minor injuries. they drove away from the scene after the attack and hid in a building near the police station. officers surrounded the building and eventually shot and killed the women when they opened fire. new york residents are returning home after a norfolk southern train derailment in new york. crews evacuated dozens of nearby homes as a precaution tuesday night. three of the 16 cars that derailed were carrying ethanol or propane. there was no fire. no one was hurt. yesterday crews removed the derailed cars and transferred the chemicals to tanker trucks. state transportation inspectors are working with the federal railroad administration to determine what caused the derailment. new information in the 2014 train derailment in lynchburg. a national transportation safety board report has concluded that a broken rail was likely to

caught on camera. at least 7 other suspects are still on the run. take a look at the unbelievable video of about 10 people breaking into the store tuesday. you can see a a truck pull up to the store. the men then tie a chain from the truck to the door. the driver hits the gas and the door comes off it's hinges. they then charge the store, jumping the counters, breaking the cases and stealing hundguns and rifles. the heist took two minutes. they got away with more than 50 weapons. a man is in custody facing a long list of charges in new mexico after he sped away from a traffic stop with a deputy inside his vehicle. here's the video just released from last month. authorities say when the deputy asked the driver to get out of his car --- the man refused. when the deputy tried to pull him from the car --- the driver took off. the deputy hit the driver with his flashlight and he

courthouse chaos caught on tape in nebraska. tension between a murder suspect's family and the victims' family spilled out into the hallways yesterday. 30 people were part of this brawl. four were arrested. the jury in the murder trial has been sequestered because of this fight. a washington state man says he's had enough- he's sick of people stealing packages off his front porch. so he took matters into his own hands. the most recent theft was a valentine's day gift. so the homeowner put together a decoy package. a thief took the bait and was caught on tape stealing the box. but there's nothing valuable inside. just a present from his dog. cory hovanec / tricked package thief "i rigged it so inside the package was soupy messy dog poo" "i rigged the package so they can only open it one was way and when they do dog poo is gonna go everywhere." if you have a similar

think your commute here in hampton roads is bad? well don't move to the big apple. workers in new york city have the highest average commute time in the country --- nearly 35 minutes one-way. that's according to a new report from real estate website trulia. the research is based on 20-14 census bureau data. long island came in second with an average commute time of 33 minutes. washington d-c was third --- at 32-point-8 minutes. the study found that east coast employees tend to spend the most time getting to work. seven of the top 10 longest commutes are located along the eastern seaboard. the report found that workers in buffalo, new york have the shortest commutes --- at 20 minutes on average. wavy news 10 at 5 starts
