today. that means low humidity once again. we are dealing with an air mass that is not humid this time of year. enjoy it. it's not normal. it is 71 degrees downtown baltimore right now. it is below a temperature rise this time of year. pennsylvania has a reading of 49 degrees right now. it is very clear out there. it will allow temperatures to drop. mostly sunny skies today. 83 degrees-86 degrees. yesterday we topped out at 87 degrees. the wins were out of the northwest at 5-10 miles per hour. i have a more for you coming up in a bit. what is going on in traffic? >> we only have one accident to tell you about brown campbell boulevard. there are continued closures in one area due to a water break desolate.

-- water main break yesterday. use caution. here is a live view of traffic in the white marsh area. it is looking very good. no signs of delays yet. a 95 is smooth. -- 895 looking smith. back to you. the morning. our big story this morning is the southwest airlines flight heading to baltimore airport had to make an emergency landing after a hole in the fuselage was discovered in the plane. >> the flight ended up in west virginia. that was around 6:30 last night. a hole could be seen on the plane. the flight originated in nashville, tennessee. passengers heard a loud pop. the cabin lost pressure. the passengers had to put on their air mass.

>> -- air mask. >> it sucked the ceiling out. there was a skylight for everyone. >> the plane landed safely in charleston, west virginia. it is not clear what caused the damage. south was airlines is expecting region -- is inspecting all of their planes. there was a shooting in southwest baltimore. officers rushed where the -- rushed to an area where they saw two people suffering gunshot wounds. the search for the suspect shot and killed a baltimore man is continuing this morning. he was killed at the intersection of 30th street in alameda. teams looked at a home where they received a tip.

>> we thought that we had a gun man who is just murdered someone run into the house. we secured the crime scene. it is safe. now the neighborhood can get some peace. >> police say they do not believe this was a random act. they are confident the gunmen will be caught soon. the data is also trying to find another suspect -- detectives are also trying to find a suspect in another shooting. there was a report of a man shot. the victim was taken to the hospital. we do not have more on his condition. the supreme court nominee sonia sotomayor returned to capitol hill today for day ttwo of her confirmation hearings. 11 news reporter is in washington with more on this. >>sonia. high passion was on display
