their health care plan, saying now with the time. >> this legislation is landmark legislation. >> in 1000 pages the plan requires americans to buy health insurance or pay a penalty. it requires employers to offer coverage or pay a fee. critics blasted that, bound to squeeze business is at a bad time. but employers would minimize the number of people want to employ. but that is one issue. the plan would also create a government-run insurance and that cutting costs. injuring almost all americans, by 2015. >> if you lose your job or starting a business, you still have health care. >> over a trillion dollar cost would be paid for in part by a tax hike on the 2 million highest earnings americans. obama said that saves all americans long term. >> don't let folks full year. the best way to bring down deficits is to get control of

health-care costs. that's why we need reform. >> he wants the house and senate to pass reforms by the fall. republicans say what is the rush? >> we are a few weeks before the recess. you have the impression they want to pass just anything mccann as rapidly as they can. but both sides know democrats don't care reform long shot gets even longer in an election year. >> in washington the senate judiciary committee has reconvened for the third day of confirmation hearings for supreme court nominee judge sonia sotomayor. republicans pounded her over comments she made about latina judge is making better choices and denied reports she is a bully on the bench. >> what do you really believe? >> i do not believe any ethnic, racial, or gender group has an advantage in judgment.

according to the thousand catholic alumni association, two families are filing an injunction. church officials say the school is already past the point of no return. >> we were first hoping for a reversal of the decision so that we and the community would have time to rally support for the school and fix the troubled dimensions. >> you are talking about a high- school having 163 kids were unproblematically the target number is at least 300. a check is not going to solve that problem. >> there is some good news. our lady of mount carmel, a sister school in the county, has agreed to take all 38 members of the senior class. one of the key members of the ravens defense will call baltimore home for the next six seasons. terrell suggs agreed to a six- year $63 million deal to stay

kebe as coach. >> if the school board would not comment following -- calling this a personal matter. coach young has filed an appeal with the superintendent's office and as a meeting next month. but the remains of two maryland marines serving in afghanistan are on their way back to the united states. they should arrive at dover air force base later this afternoon. the department of defense has not released how they died. the ocean city beach patrol is credited with saving a young boy's life after sand tunnel collapsed on him. it happened at 12:15 yesterday at the beach at 37 street. police found the 11 year-old without a pulse and not breathing. he was given cpr and was resuscitated. he was talking an ambulance and is recovering at children's hospital in delaware. the search is on for a pair of bank robbers. the brazen attack caught on tape. we will list products you may

plane that went down in iran this morning. the caspian airline jet crashed about 15 minutes after takeoff northwest of iran. witnesses reported seeing the tail burst into flames before circling as if looking for a place to land. the cause is under investigation. >> in the u.s. and brass robbery at a bank in southern washington state was caught on tape. the suspects stormed the bank in london yesterday morning, brandishing a gun. nobody was hurt. the whole ordeal lasted less than two minutes. police have not name any suspects, however they have recovered a stolen car. >> the president's plan to put people to work could mean more money for two-year colleges. $12 million of junior colleges to renovate outdated facilities and develop more online courses. 6 million students attend those colleges. president obama hopes to increase it to 11 million by 2020.
