>> he did not know he had hit anybody. the driver did not realize that he hit anything at all. >> he is charged with negligent manslaughter and negligent vehicle manslaughter under the influence. as bell is set -- his bail is set at $20,000. >> police say a man ambushed two testers when they were called to a neighborhood. the man as extensive criminal history. he has an assault charge of by his estranged wife accusing him of choking her and threatening her life. the charges did not stick. >> she invoked for spousal privilege which means prosecutors could not move forward with prosecuting this case because they did not have the victim's testimony.

story. >> the property owner claims he saw all three boys in the act friday afternoon. he called 911. the boys and it up in handcuffs and in the backseat of a patrol car headed to the juvenile detention center. >> this boy is enjoying a few minutes outside. he has not been a lot outside of the house since it got into trouble last friday. it all started when the boy spotted a neighbor's bikes, go kart, and scooter, and decided to take it. the owner chased the boy's home and called the police. the boys confessed and led the police to his friends. >> bets soon as i saw the handcuffs, i knew they were going to put it on me. >> the call for a paddle wagon. it came. they threw them in the back of the paddy wagon and took them down to the detention center. >> the boys were released to

their parents after two hours. >> they were put in a bullpen what other juveniles older than them. >> we are going to hold people accountable for their actions. if that was your property, you would want justice search for that. what's this is the first time for these boys that they did something wrong. i felt like they should have been talked to. it could've been resolved without my son being put in handcuffs. >> i can't count the number of drug dealers in this neighborhood where nothing is being done about them. but these kids are handcuffs for 2.5 hours. >> the boys -- the property owner says the parents should have been arrested not the boys.

>> of dallas police find three starving children in a bathroom. officials say the children told police they were beaten by their father and deprived of food. the girl says she was raped repeatedly. the mother is charged with injury to a child. officers found a one-year-old who appeared to be healthy in the crib. >> a louisiana mother was arrested and charged with negligent homicide in the death of her two year-old son. she posted bond.

>> welcome back to 11 news today. a man will go before a judge this morning after he killed tigger -- killed the girl in a deal like crash. the pickup truck he was driving slammed into a vehicle and ran into a girl standing on the side of the road. bail was set at $20,000. we are learning more about the man accused of shooting two baltimore police officers killed in the line of duty -- shot in the line of duty.

said pest -- medfield said customized bike parts had been disappearing from his yard. he found a voice and called -- boys and called the police. they were handcuffed and brought downtown to a detention facility. the boys knew they were in trouble, but were unprepared for the ride downtown. there were released to the paris a few hours later and not charged. the parents believe the boys should of been reprimanded not taken downtown like common criminals. the owner says the parents should have been held responsible and the boys should not have been arrested. >> that brings us to your answers to our watercooler question of the day. we ask you get the police was justified in arresting the boys under 12 years old. one person says yes.
