the east, so most of howard county of leeds has some shower activity right now. the strong nacelles are just south of there. it is all moving to the east. we will talk about the prospect of more rain this evening -- this weekend coming out. >> baltimore city fire officials are investigating two accidents involving medics. the first one happened at around 8:45 this morning. authorities say the ambulance was carrying patience when it was involved in a crash. another matter it was called to transfer the victim. there were no serious injuries. 30 minutes later, another medic was involved in an accident on madison in west baltimore. two people, including one emergency responder, were hurt. today they are investigating the incident. >> baltimore city police are searching for one of three

suspects they say tried to rob an off-duty police officer. it happened early this morning, just moments after the officer finished his shift. authorities say when one of the suspects showed a gun, the officer, who was not in uniform, shot him. that person was taken to the hospital. a third person is still on the loose. the family of a teenager who nearly died three years ago filed a $40 million lawsuit claiming negligence. james becker was 15 years old when he went for a swim. he is now confined to a wheelchair and requires constant medical attention. the lawsuit contends because becker was deprived of oxygen he suffered severe brain damage. >> the number is not a number we picked out of a hat. it is not a number for shock. it is a realistic estimate of what chaves is going to require
