that is indicative of a tornado. you have daytime heat with a lot of moisture potential in the environment and york looking at -- and you are looking at a severe thunderstorm like what we saw last night. >> it may forelock to work for these baltimore county public school employees. >> it blew the pines of the trees and blew a lot of these trees that had some age to them. some of the trees were actually erupted in the center. i think that helped out a lot. >> [no audio] >> we have seen some storms popping up today, but not in the immediate area of west of baltimore. we are enjoying a pretty decent afternoon. it looks like things are fairly quiet in that vicinity.

in the baltimore area, there is no significant threat of a storm right now. we can see some storms along the coast. western maryland also has a couple of storms approaching. for now, it is a much quieter weather pattern. but there are thunderstorms in the forecast for the rest of the week. we will check that out in a couple of minutes. >> baltimore city police had their hands full this weekend. nearly two dozen people were shot. 19 oregon down in five hours last night. one dozen of the victims were enjoying themselves at and east baltimore could get. 82-year-old girl and a pregnant woman were among the victims at the barbecue. the barbecue served as a memorial for two sisters that had been shot and killed last july. >> the shooting of the 12 people was a very calculated,

police not only got the wrong house, but the swat team used excessive force on them and their children. court papers indicate that when they complain about it to the department, police charged them with drug possession, a charge that did not hold up in court. >> i hear the door open and my husband is wondering who is opening my door without announcing themselves. he is looking and, all of a sudden, we see red beans and flashlights hitting him and red beans on myself and my friend who was sitting on the couch. >> lisa and kevin anderson are still rattled on the raid on their town house in january 2008. >> i kneel down and put my hands behind me. someone grabbed me, handcuffed me. my husband was screaming. he is disabled. please do not hurt him. he is disabled. and they still did not know that they were police. >> they have filed a $5 million civil case against them.

south of the virginia eastern shore, that is where the best chance for storms exist to this evening. that is the front that rolled through here yesterday and is trying to make its way off the mid-atlantic coast. it is stalling there. in baltimore, aid was a normal day as far as the high temperature goes. it was 87 degrees. temperatures are still in the 80's. it is clear the mountains. when you factor in the humidity, it still feels quite muggy. there will be a bit of patchy fog. the front the cancer yesterday with severe storms is making its way to the cuts now.
