northern delaware, in new castle county and the lower eastern shore. everything is quieting down finally. it took a while, but we finally quieted down. very little of the strong storm active hit baltimore. we had some good rains and that was it. all that is left, a few sprinkles from the woodlawn area, across baltimore county into northwest harford county at this point. this appears to be the last of the rain here in baltimore. the last of the strong storms in southern maryland and the lower eastern shore are really beginning to give out. there's not much activity there at all. a little thunderstorm activity over st. mary's county and that is about it. so the strong stuff is done for the time being. we have a week ahead where we still have some warm conditions and more thunderstorms in the forecast. i will have more on that in a few minutes. >> a reminder, you can follow

the forecast by using our interactive radar. it allows you to track rain or storms down to your street. go to wbaltv.com and click on weather. baltimore county police are investigating a deadly accident in essex. authorities say a man in his 20's was killed when he was hit by the motor on a boat. it happened on bayside drive. city police are investigating a bizarre shooting involving one of their officers. it happened just after 4:30 yesterday morning inside shon's food market. police say they were investigating a burglary when they were fronted by a man wearing a mask and brandishing a screw driver. they shot the man and he was pronounced dead. about 30 minutes later, things took a drastic change. >> after being observed moving or taking a breath or sigh. they returned to that location,

treated the victim and transported him to a nearby hospital. >> the medics who responded to the scene are facing an intern investigation. the suspect is listed in critical victim. shots were fired just after 1:00 in the 80 block of allendale street. that is where police found an 18-year-old and a 47-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. the 18-year-old was pro downsed dead at seahawk trauma. police are searching for a white minivan. if you know anything, you are urged to call baltimore city police. fans at ravens training camp were overjoyed when number 85 returned to the field. pete gilbert is live with more on the return of derek mason. >> as far as retirement dramas go, derek mason after re-evaluating his desire to

woman into opening her door so they could rob and attack her. darsdars has more. >> montgomery county police belief the 99-year-old victim was targeted in this crime which involved deception and robbery. >> this victim from yesterday was in frail health and very easy to take advantage of her in her situation. >> police say it was around 2:30 friday afternoon when two men phoned the woman inside her apartment here in the 101 hurricane katrina block of mckenney avenue in silver spring. they asked her to come to her door to complete an in-house survey. when she came to the door, she was attacked. >> she push her down into a chair, rummage through her bedroom and take cash and cards from her. then she able to call the police. >> the victim, 16 days shy of turning 100 years old was not physically injured, but she was traumatized. she said to be hospitalized

american aircraft lost. >> for nearly 20 years, neither his family nor the military nude what happened to scott spiker. but on sun came closure. his remains have finally been found in the iraqi desert near the recage of his plane thanks to a citizen who led his buried body. the military initially declared him killed, but they later changed his status to missing in action, and then missing captured when they found the initials of m.s.s. scratched into the wall of an reark prison. notice it appears he died in the catch. iraqis discovered his remains and gave him a buehrle not far from the wreck a little of his plane. when he disappeared, spiker was a 33-year-old lieutenant commander who had a wife and two toddlers. now his rang is captain and his kids are college age. reaction was bittersweet.

the area, we just did not receive much rain at all with this. nor wind or anything else. at b.w.i. marshall, the high was 81. rainfall, only .15 inch at the airport and .25 at the inner harbor. parts of cecil county received as much as two to three inches of rain from some of those storms. here is what the doctor looked like this morning at 11:00 a.m. this is about the time there was a tornado in effect for cecil county and parts of new castle county in delaware. the storms themselves reached down to charles county, but it wasn't severe down in this part. they just got a lot of heavy rain. then we advance the radar to this evening. about 6:30 a tornado warning was issued for the delmarva peninsula. it all got started with some

waterspouts. nothing has been confirmed, but there were some strong storms and that lasted for quite some sometimes. things are quieting down now. temperature-wise, we are still in the 70's. until you get up into carroll county and past frederick, temperatures cool a little bit. you can really tell things are changing if about he go to the dew point readings. dew point readings in the 70, a tropical and humid feeling. in baltimore we drop into the 60's for dew points. you can draw a line right here and see where that is happening, and that is the front coming into the area. here is the satellite picture. a few scatter clouds with remaining showers. most of the cloud cover and storm activity is over the atlantic. pull the view back, and there's the front coming in trying to push some of this tropical air out of the area. the thing is, the air back here west of the mountains isn't all that dry either, and it is still warm. there is yet another system out to the west which will be coming in on wednesday. so we partially fix the
