by two armed robbery suspects. it happened at a convenience store in the 5900 block of bellaire road and that is where we are live tonight with the very latest on the story. >> the hostage situation ended after police fired gas into the house and the rescue the 93- year-old man. one of the suspects is under arrest of the other, the police are checking into his status. >> according to police, two men walked into the convenience store demanding money. >> it was a standard robbery, and they ask for money and an altercation led to the attention being pistol whipped. >> of the suspects fled on foot and ran into the home of a 93- year-old. they said he had no air conditioner in his house and he keeps the door opened t in the summer. the standoff lasted several
