>> the worst terrorist attack ever on british soil. 270 people killed, including 11 residents from the small scottish town of blog board -- of lockerbie, and many americans. the pan am flight went down decades ago after a bomb blew up inside the cargo hold. the only suspects convicted of the crime was this man. this libyan. the british reports said the convicted terrorists may soon be released on compassionate grounds or transferred back to libya in jail. he suffers from terminal prostate cancer that has spread throughout is body. he wants to spend his final days with his family. scottish authorities are still considering the application for release. the justice secretary will make a decision this month. the libyan government has agreed to pay $1.5 billion to the families of the victim's. their pain 20 years later is still there. >> this tragedy blasts.
