investigation, police tell us they have no clue as, no lead, no suspects. however, the family says a videotape obtained by a business in the area will hope -- hopwill help shed some light. >> 67-year-old john yates was biking down to the university of maryland to get his third masters degree and is hit by a white box truck turning right at the intersection of maryland and lafayette avenues. yates was killed by the truck and it drove away. attorney stephen silverman, who is representing the yates family, says his office and the police have obtained the surveillance video that shows the incident. yates family did not want to release the video for personal reasons, but shows and two cars

signaling through the intersection followed by the box truck. the box truck abruptly to the right without a turn signal as mr. gates was going through the intersection heading south toward the city. >> police tell 11 news they have no suspects or leaves. however, after looking at the tape, which does not provide license plate information, they believe the driver had no idea he hit yates. >> it is a very tragic situation. >> in the meantime, the gates family has hired a private investigation to create the crime scene and canvassed the area for clues. >> we are devastated that someone could leave their loved one on the pavement with mortal injuries and just drive off. >> the baltimore city police are looking for all the help they can get in this case. anyone who is out here on august 4 during the time of the
