authorities say a 35-year-old william jacobs died after his motorcycle was cut off by an acura. the driver was not injured. police said out the hall was a factor. >> of baltimore man has been flown to germany to face charges for a murder. he was extradited to face charges. dna track authorities to ground. brown was arrested in 2007 on an international warrant from germany. police are questioning a man with connection on the death of a 3-year-old child. the man initially report of the child fell down the stairs, but the deaf have been recorded a homicide. >> -- the death has been recorded on homicide. >> people are still stunned.

personally apologize. a police helicopter and both were used earlier this month to stage a raid, while he was proposing to his fiancee. he says he will pay the city back. police officers are conducting an internal investigation to identify who authorized the use of those resources. sharks you may have seen some thunder and lightning this afternoon, but we have some storms moving through. they developed quickly through the west, and now one area is moving southward, from producing thunder and lightning. in the area between arnold down to the south of the city, the office where one strong thunderstorm cells is, producing quite a bit of lightning. also write over the city itself

one right over the city. just moving into baltimore county, and up to pennsylvania, so that will probably be the most significant. let's see what the temperatures are outside right now. since the rain has moved in, temperatures have moved down a little bit. 89 downtown, but i suspect has dropped since the rains started. westminster is 90. 81 in frederick regan -- in frederick. here is the satellite pictures showing storm cells to our north west. all of this is moving in. it is a very tropical environment. some briefly heavy rains and strong, gusty winds, but it is a small feature, and a bigger weather maker to the west. this cool front will try to come in tomorrow.

with the front, it will help increase the chances for showers and thunderstorms. as it gets closer to the mountains, that is when we expect storm activity to crop up again tomorrow, but the front will buyout, and another one will try to come in by the end of the week. that is the one we expect to be the strongest. bill is a full-blown hurricane in the atlantic ocean. they are beautiful. this storm is nowhere near in the land at this point, but looked at the firewall -- eyewall. the storm is expected to become a category 2 storm, and whether the moves to the west, heading towards the maritime provinces, but notice that new england is

summer vacation is over. those teachers showed up for on- the-job training, almost two weeks before students go back to the classroom, and those new teacher numbers are lower this year. tim is live with that story. >> some of the sluggish economy may be one reason why veteran teachers are staying on the job longer, but now the best may be yet to come. they came by the hundreds, some new to teaching, others new to the county. for the most part, this new group of teachers is very familiar with baltimore county. >> i love the experience i have hadn't -- i have had. it came naturally to teacher in baltimore county. >> with jobs hard to land and more teachers deciding to stay, those numbers are likely to

this evening. we will keep track and bring you more weather details in just a minute. >> here is a look at our top stories. police in washington, d.c., say a girl was shot in the shoulder as she sat inside her home. police said the girl was inside her home early this morning. residents say there were several men standing on a nearby corner when bullets hit the house. the girl was treated and released. police are investigating who fired the shots. a man was severely beaten this morning and what they are calling a hate crime. the man had been fishing with his wife when three white men began yelling racial slurs. the man is in critical condition and shock trauma. the maryland delegate who admitted using police resources to propose to his fiancee has personally apologize.

>> two young children have been reunited with their mother after armed men allegedly took the kids to a home in phoenix this morning. police found the 2-year-old boy and 11-month-old girl on harmed. they were reunited with family members waiting in a local police station. police are searching for four suspects. they say they do not believe the mother of the children knew the suspects. police are investigating a possible home invasion that left several people dead and woman fighting for her life. several people were shot and killed inside the home. police are speaking with the sole survivor, a woman shot in the face. police have not released the identities or a possible motive. >> police in texas are warning people to be on the lookout for a rapist. police say the man who is running into female drivers who are alone. he a sophomore at knife point.

the area, generally producing less than a fifth of an inch of rain unless you happen to be under the right part of the storm so. the strongest storms are moving to the north and northeast, and i will veto the warnings in just a second. these cells are pretty strong across southern and central baltimore county and almost to hartford county. there are warnings out of wind gusts of 2 60 miles per hour. in southern york county, crossing into baltimore county, another strong storms of results in a thunderstorm warning. you can see where the concentration is. right into southern pennsylvania, the strong storm cells of this point. let's show you the map with all the warnings.

we just got word that the thunderstorm warning has been cancelled, but we still have warnings in effect until 6:15 and also in southern pennsylvania until 6:00. these thunderstorms are moving from west to east. there is not much significant weather behind it. tomorrow we may see more numerous storms and more activity going on, so we will wait and see what happens. the rain has taken the temperatures down a little bit. annapolis is 84. easton is 90 degrees. 90 at westminster. here is all the cloud activity associated with these thunderstorm cells, and it goes to the stronger the with another one right behind.

all this stuff is moving to the east, and there is nothing much significant behind it at all. there is an affront to the west. this front will get closer to marlowe, and it will probably helped generate more storm activity, but it will not push the tropical air out of the area at all. that will not happen until the end of the week, so until then we will have a chance of rain every evening. in the tropics we have bill, a powerful hurricane. the storm is going to be moving to the northwest, probably passed the west of bermuda and skiff toward the maritime provinces. what is left is now just a wave over cuba. very little chance it will develop. our own forecast is very tropical with evening thunderstorms.
