bail and this afternoon, -- calvin lockner asked for a $5,000 bill this afternoon and the judge denied that this afternoon. shocking new details about what happened. documents say that 3 to four white males approached the 76- year-old around 3:30 in the morning at fort armistead park. one of the men kicked into the ground and started punching him in the face saying "you black n, i will get you." they begin to the bat while he was on the ground one suspect took his wallet from his truck. the suspect in custody, calvin lockner, police in a taped statement, "this would not have happened if he was a white man at." he was a member -- he is a two -- a member of two white power

shooting victims in identifying who shot them. legal troubles are brewing at prince george's county. a federal judge has ruled that the county violated the u.s. constitution when it furloughed nearly 6000 workers. the judge ruled that the county violated a contract clause that bars states from passing a laws in perry obligations of contracts. he has ordered both sides to discuss how employees will be repaid. officials say that the ruling will mean massive layoffs. last month, the county council approved the second round of 10- day furloughs. bge crews are working hard to restore power to 3000 customers after last evening's storms. they left behind quite impressive damage, particularly through baltimore harbor county. from the look on the radar, it seems that today could be a repeat of yesterday. that's get a first check of the forecast.

school in kentucky, the swine flu has followed the students back to school. despite efforts to clean the school, there is at least one confirmed case of the h1n1 virus. by day's end monday, more than a quarter of the students and staff were home. many of them reported fever, vomiting, and sore throat. >> you cannot have a school without that many people. >> expect cases like this at schools and workplaces this call. today, the obama administration advises employers on how to prepare for it. >> everybody is holding their breath knowing that this is a virus that has very high impact. >> the h1n1 vaccine is expected to be ready by october. >> we are going to encourage the people to think about where they will get their vaccine and start making plans knowing that the additional doses are coming
