see how it will affect us. but it looks like by saturday morning, it will be in our vicinity. it is more offshore. more of an impact in the area. it'll be a category one hurricane. more coming up. let's check out traffic. >> good morning everybody. let's see what is going on. harford road is shut down due to some police activity. the closure of saratoga at greenwood. yesterday it was westbound that was shut down. now both directions are closed at green street. we are doing quite well on the major roadways otherwise. 11 minutes on the southbound i- 95. here is a live view of traffic in the area. so far so good both northbound

and southbound. volume is pretty moderate at this time. that is the latest on traffic posted 11. >> thank you. our big story is, baltimore is investigating a shooting involving one of their own. >> police tell us a woman was injured in the incident. it was on the 4900 block of hazelwood. our reporter joins us live from police headquarters with more. >> baltimore police said a pair of officers were patrolling on hazelwood avenue when they tried to stop a late model toyota camry. the car did not stop until one particular street. the driver put the car in reverse and tried to run the officer down. at least one officer fired his gun. the driver ditched the car and fled on foot. police were able to get him. the passenger was not so lucky.

>> we did learn that a female passenger was injured in the right arm. we do not know if she was hit by a round that the officer shot were hit by breaking glass. >> the woman was taken to an area hospital. no officers were injured. police say they were shaken up after the incident. police are still looking for the driver of the car. if you have any information about the suspect, please call baltimore county police. wbal-tv. >> baltimore county police are investigating a shooting in dundalk. we are told that an adult male was shot. no word on a suspect or a motive in this case. and police also investigating a shooting in east baltimore. this was on the 3200 block of lendl avenue of around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. the person was taken to the

local hospital. no word on his condition. >> there have been more than a dozen of robberies. police say a 39 year-old man confessed to robbing businesses mostly in the charles village and south. area. -- south point area. he hit some of the businesses more than once. it retro clothing store is one of the victims. the owners bought back during one robbery. >> he went for my throat. at that point, my boyfriend had a baseball bat and crack him in the head with it. >> as soon as he is out of the hospital, we expect to charge him. >> he seems to have expressed relief to being caught. charges are pending. >> police are looking for a man who has committed a series of disturbing incidents as.

compared to tomorrow. there is that stalled out front. it is the difference got her here because it will continue to keep this weather off of our shore. this is tropical storm danny. the winds are 50 miles per hour. that is not very organized. it is willing to the northwest. it is more than 700 miles to the south of ocean city, maryland. it is right on the shores of ocean city. there will be high swells there and some local heavy rainfall. this is a minimal hurricane. we are on the west side of it which is the best side of things. we will continue to watch this.
