>> i mean, it's a way of handling things. you're a professional right now. have you to do things the right way and you have to show up. guys in the locker room are counting on you. you're a pro bowl receiver and lead of this team and you cannot act in that fashion. really for me, cris, i wish someone at home would grab him and say what are you doing? someone around him that is close to him and saying you need to grow up and be a professional and go out there and handle your business because eventually if you prove it on the field, if denver doesn't play you, someone else will. >> you talk about auditioning for other teams. you want to get out of here, that's fine but you have to show them something. the last thing on mayor their mind is watching you knock down balls in practice and punt the football away. you know every team has headaches. nobody wants to sign extra headache. they have enough trouble with the headaches they already have and right now he's in a tough spot. >> if i'm a general manager looking at this guy, i'm saying if i invest 25 million, 35 million into this guy if a little adversity hits, will he respond like this? and i just think, you know, you really show your true character when adversity hits.

they're going to do a good job of rotating the guys and put different guys in there and guys have to step up. >> cris: you know it's sw interesting. he probably only took about 50 snaps in most games anyway because the whole league rotates their defensive backs in and out. >> al: peterson to the outside. rodney, we issue you much success. welcome to the business, my man. great to have you aboard. >> thank you for having me. >> al: we will watch you every sunday night before we go to work. >> cris: good luck watching the ten games at a time on sunday! >> you enjoy belaire country club. such a hard life. >> al: come on out. i'll each pay the caddie fee for you. >> good. thank you. >> al: rodney harrison along with tony dungy going into the studio on "football night in america" and bob costas is coming out on the road with us. and that all starts on the first sunday night of the season when we will see the chicago bears against the green bay packers. from the 46 yard line. to the 47. here goes adrian peterson.
