>> it cannot come at a better time. >> the shells need a stalking at the maryland food bank. the supplies are getting low. it is a good thing that september is hunger action month. >> it is the beginning of the school year. people start to think about the needy because vacations are winding down. >> of this month the good bank is involved in event everyday partnering with local businesses to solicit donations for food and to kick up a fund raising campaigns. the most exciting event could be on september 15. that is when they will break ground for their new community kitchen. >> we will at a kitchen to the maryland food bank allowing them to prepare meals. we can put them on our menu so that our partner agencies can get the meals ready to serve directly from us. >> that will virtually end having to throw out food that has gone bad and go a long way to make sure people get the food
