the police say that one of the victims was shot multiple times. the other victim remains in critical condition. the police say that the man that shot a pregnant woman and a policeman was found in north carolina. william pyle was tracked down in claremont yesterday. he is being charged with two attempted counts of murder. speed cameras are one step closer to being placed about baltimore county, but there is mixed reaction to the idea. >> we are concerned that this could be a reason to indiscriminately tax the people of baltimore county. >> the elisse say that it will change driver behavior, the same as light cameras, as well as creating revenue. they will be placed near school and construction zone. anyone caught going 12 miles or more over the speed limit will

up. >> the trial date has been set for councilwoman holden, her attorney argued that the case should be moved to district court. the motion will be considered by the judge. she faces charges after she paid for a public opinion poll with money given by local developers. the charges were dismissed earlier this year but prosecutors managed to get a grand jury to indict her again. the motion to dismiss will be moved sometime next week. wildfires continue to burn in southern california. right now the cooler temperatures and humidity are helping the firefighters to gain control. so far more than 140,000 acres have burned. >> fire crews continue to make slow but steady progress. for the first time in more than one week instead of taking a defensive stance, strike teams are able to attack a massive

>> pfizer, the world's largest drug maker, will be settled a civil suit related to drug promotions. the company indicated it would pay $2.3 billion over allegations that it had marketed a pain reliever and possibly other products for medical conditions other than the approved use. the terms of the deal are expected to be released later today. the body of a woman who killed herself and seven others was driving the wrong way on in new york highway will be exhumed. the family said that it will be exhumed for testing to counter findings that she was intact -- intoxicated at the time of the crash. authorities said they found a bottle of vodka in her minivan.

degrees downtown. high pressure is causing this nice, quiet, stable weather trend for us. we may see some of that changing up towards virginia, but we think it will be a partly cloudy day. we are watching it losing of strength on the block of peninsula for tropical storm jimena, continuing to force its way through. looking at the atlantic, tropical storm erica remains very disorganized, continuing to move very deliberately to the west. still just a tropical storm, we will continue to track it as it looks like it might affect the bahamas on the second half of the labor day weekend. it will be 80 degrees tomorrow, 80 degrees friday, 82 on saturday and sunday.
