to that family. >> the issue of murder-suicides it is certainly on the list of possibilities that investigators are considering but it is far too early to determine that. this is a murder investigation and it is too early to say officially what occurred here tonight. >> right now, police continue their slow search of the crime scene. they have not disclosed the names or ages of the victims, but neighbors tell us the sun is in the ninth grade, and the daughter is in the first grade. >> baltimore county police have charged three men in the murder of a man who was wheelchair- bound. 25-year-old marin lendosky george was found dead a week ago. authorities say he had been robbed. he was strangled. police arrested keon samuels,

andrew nguyen, and marlon montes. two 16-year-old boys have been charged as adults in their shooting murder of a detective aaron harris. the teenagers tried to rob the detective outside of his home. he is in serious condition. david collins has the story. >> gunfire shattered the peace of this neighborhood in northwest baltimore are around 10:20 p.m. >> how many gunshot? >> 7. >> neighbors could not contain their curiosity . their aaron harris -- detective aaron harris lay wounded on the front steps of his own home. >> he had been shot -- he had been shot in the left side. he is my friend.

>> detective harris had just arrived home after visiting a family member in the hospital. two 16-year-old boys approached him. >> they announced a robbery. one brandished a revolver at which time a struggle ensued on the porch. the suspect fired multiple gunshots, one of which struck detective aaron harris in the abdomen and at least two other shots struck him in the lower left leg. >> the detective fought back. he returned fire, striking 16- year-old craig tippet in the leg. he was taken into custody after he arrived at the hospital on his own seeking treatment. the other suspect, 16-year-old kevon wilson, is also in custody.

>> 16 year olds with the legal guns. it is beginning to be extremely frustrating. to many times our system have released young people back into the community and the of many citizens in the community. >> maryland health officials have confirmed the state's first pediatric death associated with the swine flu. the child had serious underlying medical conditions. the victim is not the same student from the middle school who was just confirmed yesterday to have the disease. that growth remains in the hospital. this is the health department says baltimore is trying to vaccinate as many people as possible against the seasonal flu. nurses were giving seasonal flu shots to students and adults.

parents must be vigilant in getting children vaccinated. >> this is not the first case within the city school system. influenza is in the community. we know children get influenza. right now, all of the cases we are seeing is h1n1. >> one official -- to find out when and where the vaccinations will be given, go to our website. the first doses of the swine flu vaccine will be out within the next two weeks. the cdc expects about 6 million doses to be distributed in early october but admit the first few weeks could be a little bumpy. >> in the nation's laboratories, the final push to test and get the flu vaccine ready to distribute. >> we have some vaccine coming

in in early october. the bulk of the early vaccine will be in mid to late october. >> while there will be plenty of vaccine for everyone eventually, the process is still confusing. pregnant women are at the top of the list, but they will not be able to use the very first doses delivered because it will be in a nasal spray that contains a live virus. they will have to wait for the shot. it is recommended that the nasal spray go to children. many parents say they will not get their children vaccinated. >> i know of very few kids that have contracted it so far. >> in new poll at the university of michigan shows less than half of parents planned to have their children vaccinated. doctors say that could be a mistake with the virus spreading

staff member try to break up the fight. the student who was beaten was rushed to the hospital. >> the second student was rendered unconscious, regained consciousness, and was escorted to the office. he felt unconscious is second time. >> sources tell us the teenager remains in a coma. this is not the first time the teenagers were involved in defied, but this time they will face several charges. the lawyers for sheila dixon said prosecutors are still using inadmissible evidence in their attempt to make perjury charges stick. attorneys argue prosecutors improperly handled evidence. she is also charged with theft. a hearing has been set for next week.

the annapolis central democratic committee met to discuss who will replace the democratic candidate in the annapolis naval race. pierre officially dropped out this week after reports surfaced about her rocky financial past. the committee nominated josh cohen. officials say he was chosen because they believe he can win. cohen plans to kick off his campaign at noon tomorrow in annapolis. a week after that 72-inch water main broke, the massive cleanup is still going on. sky team 11 was backed over that seen this afternoon. work crews are doing their best trying to repair the gaping hole. residents are still affected by it. they will get help tomorrow from county leaders who will set up a

the heavier clouds are out to the west and this is where the shower activity is. this is the storm system. it is centered over the plains. the surface storm is just to the west of us in eastern kentucky. this is the high pressure that pushed the front through this morning, generating a little bit of rain but also giving us some dry weather today. this will be coming in it tomorrow. even though it is autumn, the hurricane season is still in full gear. this is the next tropical depression sitting out in the atlantic ocean. it looks like it will stay weak and stay way out over the eastern atlantic as it progresses over the next couple of days. temperatures dip down into the 50's overnight. east-northeast winds at 32 7
