year-old was convicted of manslaughter charges. dave collins joins us live with the latest. >> he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, although he could be eligible for parole, prosecutors and the victim's family members agreed that the punishment fits the crime. >> judge kathleen cox calls this a cruel irony. the man who drove the stolen truck into a first floor bedroom crushed the woman to death and walk away unscathed. cops made sure he did not get away and punished. he was sentenced to 20 years in prison on manslaughter charges. >> i think the punishment fits the crime. >> she was the heart of our family. losing her is probably the most difficult than any of us have had to deal with. we feel like justice has been served if he will just get his

life together and come back in 20 years as a new person. that is all we can pray for. >> we can hopefully move on and deal with it a little better. >> family members described the victim as a giver. always putting family and others before herself. his defense attorney says that miller had a terrible start in life and he had drug-addicted parents and that eight years of age, his dad was mother. he believes that his mom couldn't -- committed suicide. he has since been estranged from his 7-year-old daughter. he launched into a lengthy apology, saying that he is truly sorry and that he had a lot of remorse and that he absorbed their pain and if he could sacrifice himself for the pain and anguish, he would. >> and he started that day abusing alcohol and drugs and stolen pickup truck and blacked out behind the wheel and slammed into the home. police picked him up walking

away from the scene. they tied him to the truck with his own cell phone. when police called, they got his voice mail. >> he has had numerous brushes with the law including prelude to pay child support. >> breaking news tonight. at pizza hut was apparently rob. >> this is the 1000 block of the street where this pizza hut is located. employees ended up in the freezer somehow were locked him there for about 15 minutes. police have a description of the suspect. reporting live in baltimore county, to 11. >> 29, the search continues for

the man who killed an elderly man. there were reports of a man in cardiac arrest. when they arrive, they found the man dead at the scene. an autopsy later revealed the depth was a homicide. tonight, police are hoping a sketch will help catch a rape suspect. they're desperately trying to find him. we are live at police headquarters tonight. >> the 33-year-old victim described the suspect to police and now they hope that the sketch will help lead to an arrest. >> the victim was walking home alone and it was about 1230 in the morning. police have released this composite sketch in an attempt to find a rape suspect. investigators are relying on video from surveillance cameras.

>> the detectives were able to learn that there are cameras in the area and they were able to get some footage of that as well as they were able to obtain a composite drawing based on the victim's information. >> the victim told police that as she approached the man, he was fitted -- seated at a bus stop. the suspect had a hand gun and forced the victim to a vacant residence. >> police say the man took the woman to this vacant house in northwest baltimore. she told investigators that she was raped behind the house. >> after the assault took place, the victim was able to make it to the firehouse and notified them of the incident. >> paramedics called police and the investigation began. according to the sketch, but the man is about 5 foot 8 inches tall 200 pounds of a muscular
