7, and forced his way into the home on franklin street at 2:30 in the morning. >> detectives say the victim's children were in the house at the time. this attack as unsettled residents. >> that was wrong for him to do that and your kids were in theire. she was probably in shock. >> i hope the police catch him and taken to jail where he needs to be for doing something like that. >> the victim does not know the attacker. police hope someone recognizes the composite sketch and chooses to do the right thing. if you have any information about the case, you are asked to call the police detectives sex unit.

the reason is clear. an intense light showers and storms extending from the great lakes through the ohio valley and even down to the deep south is as all lina squall line. we will see temperatures in the 70's. the next chance of showers enters the forecast by the early evening tonight. let's talk about the temperatures. 57 downtown, 55 and marshall, considerably milder than the last several days. 64 degrees in ocean city on the beach. the upper elevations in western maryland will see the rain sooner, sometime in the afternoon. 61 degrees. increasing the cloud cover. after 7:00 is when the sun will rise. we may see some more clouds. 73 degrees this afternoon. that's the benchmark for october 2, right on target.

the chance of showers and to the forecasts in the late afternoon and were likely in the evening or overnight. 73 and mostly cloudy on the lower eastern shore. not a good day of voting on the chesapeake. there's a small craft advisory because of the gusty wind, south southeasterly at 20 knots with gusts of 25 knots but waves churning up to two feet. the record high was 89 degrees set in 1986. in 1997 it was 35 degrees. a nice spread between the two, a typical for the beginning of october. 50 degrees in the average low. tonight it will be closer to sit 2 because of the warm air ahead of the frontal boundary. -- tonight it will be close to 60 degrees because of the warm air ahead of the front. we are in for it for the next 24
