the storm is pulling away to the east now. there may be some snow shower activity along the eastern shore. the accumulating snow is over with. we are a touch below freezing in most areas. some icing on streets that have not been treated yet. here is a summary for you. temperatures slightly below freezing this morning. tomorrow looks like a nice one. another storm is more significant coming in later in the week. >> we drive in from different areas. >> no problem.

>> that was my experience as well. there are going to be some icy spots out there. most of the major roadways are in pretty good shape for the most part. be careful this morning. there are accidents to tell you about. in the of owings mills reason and a water main break and 1 shunpikes bill. a slow go around the area. that is what you expect for conditions the way they are. and accident coming in and near pasadena. 12 minutes on the outer loop northeast side. 40 minutes on the outer loop

the major roadways looking pretty clear. very clear considering the snow stopped an hour or so ago. salt trucks are trying to make sure the roads are not slick. they are still wet. some of the secondary roadways are pretty slushy as well. use extra time and caution this morning. a wet snow and a more compact snow than what we were seeing this weekend. the rose look pretty good right now. let's talk to sandra in the city. >> it has been quite a winter so far. i am at roland park avenue at the starbucks. check out the hill behind me.

it is usually a problem spot with this type of weather. they have been following this for the last hour. there is a school right behind me across the street. you cannot see that right now. things are looking good for this which can be difficult when we have a snow event. this will give you a good size of the accumulation. the crews are very proactive in getting the salt trucks out. they were out as early as yesterday evening. they continue throughout the night.

some are digging in shoveling the sidewalks. and i spread a cloud truck is hear the wind up this big he'll -- hill. they are trying to get to these side streets to clear everything else. let us take a look at hd doppler and find out what the status of the system is right now. it is to our east. light snow flurries activity taking place on the eastern shore. high pressure will build in as it moves out of their area. it will stabilize us today and tomorrow. the bad news is we are expecting a more intense storm for friday into saturday. tony pann will tell you the news about that. back to you.

>> thanks. the difference from this over the weekend is the temperatures are a little warmer. right now, we are in the upper 20 kooky and low 30 kooky. -- 20's and a low 30's. i do not think it will be that bad after -- out there especially after sunrise. there is a wide look at the storm. things are quieting down. some snow showers still in the mountains. the clouds are breaking up in the western suburbs. he will get sunshine as we head into this morning and afternoon.

the high temperatures will be higher. here is a look at the weather for tomorrow. high pressure in control with a lot of sunshine. we are watching the storm out of the gulf of mexico. it is too early to give details. it is a little stronger and we could have bigger problems as we head into the weekend. friday, a mixture of rain, snow, and the sleet. then i think we will have snow during the day on saturday. i think it will end saturday night. how much, it is too early to determine.
