supervise. she went over to play with his son with some video games. court documents allege that he pulled the girl onto his lap and fondled her while the sun fat -- sat feet away. >> she has been in fear up to this point, but until she saw this, she was able to gain the confidence to reach out to a family member and report the abuse. >> he confessed to molesting the girl on two occasions. investigators are looking into his role as a volunteer soccer coach assistant. and his participation in cub scout activities. >> our concern is that there may be other children who could have been molested at any of these times. unfortunately, the time stand -- the time span seems to be a 10 year time span. >> the parish's involved to the proper precautions.

>> a federal judge has accepted a settlement of the loss didn't that accused libraries -- the losses began in 1984 when advocacy groups sued the city saying special education programs were inadequate. state officials say the turning point came. the settlement would end the court oversight and lawsuits within two years. city officials are at odds over proposals in the pension system for police and firefighters. the measure would seek to raise the minimum age of retirement and was presented at last night's city council meeting. the bill was sent to committee for further review. city law makers are looking to make the streets safer and cleaner by cracking down on those issues that a fund gets out of control.
