>> on friday, baltimore county police arrested 21 year-old city officer after an incident at a baltimore county bar. he was intoxicated and upset. he started yelling that he was a city police officer. he appeared to pull out a gun. they say he had a pistol in his hand when he got into another altercation in the parking lot. >> it looks like he got into a dispute at some bouncers at a bar. then notified officers here in baltimore. we immediately suspended the officer. 20 year police veteran is also on suspension. he is facing an assault charge for an alleged incident in the atlantic city. >> the officer was involved in a hit and run accident. he was later charged with driving under the influence. >> the suspect accused of hitting his car claims the officer pistol with him during a probable cause hearing monday, he was charged with assault.

on tuesday, police responded to a domestic dispute between officer and his girlfriend. the officer is also suspended. >> city police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man in west baltimore. the shots were fired around 11:00 last night. the victim was taken into shock trauma with a gunshot wound. he was pronounced dead overnight. >> court documents reveal a stormy romance linked to the weekend slaying of a university ballplayer. police say britain carol was shot and killed by tyler call during a confrontation last night. hall's teammate once lived with his ex-girlfriend. it is also reported that she saw a protective order against him. the claim self-defense. university of maryland officials are wondering why surveillance video footage went missing and was not turned over to the case

involving a student being beaten by prince george's county police. authorities say the video was shot by a student and showed a three officers in riot gear being a student. four officers have been suspended for the march beating of 21 year-old j. mckenna. the woman who helped start her one-year-old son under a religious cult leader has been given a suspended sentence. ria ramkissoon says she was following the orders of a cult leader queen antoinette. they were convicted of second- degree murder. >> our weather pattern is changing today. we do have some showers moving through. there is an area of low pressure to our south. we are seeing some widespread light showers across the central part of the state. the little pocket of heavier rainfall are around the district

fire cadets killed in a training exercise back in 2007 is filing a multimillion-dollar suit against the city. the family of rachael wilson alleges that the exercise that killed the cadet was grossly unsafe and that the department had a culture of ignorance and indifference to safety. the report cites the family is seeking $35 million for suffering and death. is that in baltimore councilman is seeking to replace outgoing county executive this november. he says he will kick off his campaign for county executive next week with a rally in towson university. he represented the sixth district for 16 years. he joins fellow councilman. former international olympic committee president has died. he was being admitted for heart

chances of developing breast cancer after menopause. a study found that -- her risk for breast cancer went up almost 90%. more than 72,000 women were included in this study, making it one of the largest of its kind. a new study shows that patients may be able to have a small amount of milk or cheese every day. researchers looked at 30 studies of people with an aversion to dairy. experts found that most of the participants could tolerate 12- 15 grams a day. they also found theory to be more tolerable when combined with other foods. new federal rules will go into effect tomorrow aimed at limiting the risk of lead paint poisoning. the new regulations for any contractor who deals with lead paint, working on a property built before 1978, must be certified in the proper removal technique. removing the toxic paint requires special equipment and
