from another attempt to fix the oil leak in the gulf of mexico. we're getting live pictures. it appears the amount of oil flowing is much more than we have been told. >> tune in any time and this is what you see -- real-time video, vast amounts of oil pouring into the gulf. bp says they are collecting 5,000 barrels a day. >> bp has lost all credibility. the decision will have to be made by others. they have been hiding the actual consequences. >> the obama administration wants bp to make all this public. they should use a new less toxic disbursement.

today but it will still be nice. clouds are coming from the storm system out west. the center of the storm is headed for the great lakes. high pressure over us. the storm will go up and around the high. eventually, the rain associated with this storm will catch up with us. it will be over the weekend. the humid air is south of the warm front, which is running down into georgia. the humid air is stuck in the gulf coast region. we will beat warm today but will not have the summertime cubit situation. -- we will not have the summertime humid situation. we cannot seem to lock in on that. that is the way it is going. the wind will be about 10 miles

the bicycle to work day, at the war memorial plaza, there could be some congestion around the war memorial plaza park in clarksville, report of a vehicle fire on 32. in lothian, an accident on 408 is closed in both directions near route 4. things are just fine on the inner and outer lips. at 32, things are looking good southbound there, as well. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> four people are dead after a traffic stop ended in a chase and a shootout in a walmart parking lot. police pulled over a minivan and the suspects inside opened fire, killing two officers. that set off a pursuit where

sheriff's deputies were wounded. nationalt obama's intelligence directorate is resigning. dennis blair is giving his resignation today after turf wars and embarrassing press leaks. he is the third person to hold this position. in overseas 16 different agencies. crews in california are tackling a fast-moving california. the fire has scorched more than 800 acres. it started yesterday. fires are officials are urging people to be prepared in case any evacuation becomes necessary. target is recalling about 350,000 trunks.

they can close a very quick because there are no locking mechanisms. 118-month old became trapped. the trunks were sold in stores and online. they can be returned to target for a full refund. a baltimore company makes big money off of the problems in europe. courtney donohoe has that story and more in the bloomberg business report. >> stocks around the world are plunging this week on worries that europe's debt crisis is spreading. stocks dropping the most in more than a year yesterday. the bloomberg maryland index lost over 4.25%. that crisis in greece is leaving to profits for legg mason.

>> welcome back. one person was killed in an early-morning fiery crash around 12:30 just north of hot spring road in baltimore county. the vehicle caught fire not long after the crash. it appears an investigation into an abduction has turned into a murder case. a body was found hillsdale avenue. police have concluded it was the same man they were looking for. the victim appears to have been targeted and the abduction was not random. a pennsylvania senior is fighting to get her picture into the yearbook.
