1. she long-term campaign $100,000. most believe jessamy is in the political life of her life. four years ago, her opponent did very little campaigning but had 20% of the vote. at that time, political observers chalk that up to a protest vote. jessamy calls the 2010 race the most divisive, but not the toughest. she charges that bernstein has completely distorted her record. >> these are all misrepresentations about a record that is built on that occasion, service, honesty, fairness, and justice. >> jessamy needs strong voter turnout especially from her base of supporters. outside of polling places, some of her volunteers are urging them to vote for bernstein. a low voter turnout could help bernstein who launched an aggressive campaign tagging bird -- tagging jessamy as part of the status quo.

one. turnout is a light across the state. in baltimore city cut 10.5%. and the baltimore county, 10%. polls opened at 7:00 a.m. in baltimore city, turnout was light. by 9:00 a.m., 6000 people had voted. election judges were disappointed. >> this is a lot less. normally by now we would have at least somewhere in the area of 160 voters. right now we only have 100. speaks to what the day will look like. more than 50,000 voters had been to the poll. varmus died jones called this unbelievable -- armistad jones called this unbelievable. >> a lot of people seem to be not happy with the status quo.

arrested two people in a deadly stabbing. they found jerimiah at demario in hampstead last night. he had been stabbed into the chest and was taken to the hospital where he later died. they arrested 22-year-old lederer and glover. the test -- more testimony today in the trial of city councilman ken harris. they watched the surveillance of the robbery and heard from the new haven lounge where harris was killed. covington said he heard a single shot as he was forced back inside. he told the jurors he did not know harris had been shot and killed until police arrived on the scene. >> this man walked into the bank of america on the 600 block in the pikesville. he handed the teller a note demanding money. the suspect fled on foot.

much change. very nice conditions vary -- all the way down to the coast. they have called back a couple of degrees now. on the cooler side of things in allegheny county. 68 degrees. we have seen some scattered high clouds at times. the high-pressure generally in the control which will produce high winds. near the pennsylvania border, we can see some temperatures in the low 50's by morning. closer to the low 60's @ inner harbor. we have seen some cold front dropping out of canada and trying to push toward our region. the most recent showers at the canadian border have been running out of steam and moisture. we have a couple of scattered clouds associated with that. that is what we're seeing today. the front went through our region almost unnoticed and then scattered cloud cover.

high pressure coming in behind it should deliver another beautiful day tomorrow. this front may be of little stronger and more organized as it comes in thursday evening which is the next best chance for rain. tomorrow will be a beauty. highs from 77-82 and a west breeze at 6-12 miles per hour. sunrise is at 6:48 a.m. and will go down at 7:15 p.m. on the day tomorrow, western wins a wider than today with waves around 1 foot. now advisories for the water tomorrow. water temperatures around 75 degrees. a beautiful day out in the western maryland mountains. near the bay, sunshine in abundance with temperatures right around 80 degrees. brands will be lighter out of the west mark. lower eastern shore, of warmer with mostly sunny skies.

ocean city and surrounding areas should have beautiful. tomorrow. hurricane eagar has been a car packed storm. -- hurricane igor has been a power-packed store. the eye of the storm is well- defined and continues to produce with estimates of 145 miles per hour at the center. 155 miles per hour and above this category five. it might even get a little rubber deceiving. further to the north, you can see the clouds moving from west to east. it will encounter this wester the share which will start to weaken the story a little bit. this will generally move in the direction of bermuda. and little further east, julia has become a hurricane. it is now a category one. the big what is hurricane igor. a category four storm about 180 miles from hamilton, bermuda.
