>> an anniversary that many are not celebrating. one year ago today, a six-foot water main burst in dundalk, flooding homes and businesses. the dog businesses will likely never forget that day -- dundalk businesses. george check and see how things are one year later. >> it is tough to tell anything happen there today. the neighborhood seems to be back to normal, but a closer look at this neighborhood shows people are still paying a price for this flood. marcia and christopher live on the same block in dundalk, but their lives have been miles apart since the massive water main break that flooded several neighborhoods here year ago. >> the water was to write about their. >> her basement was like 100 others that day, but now it is back to normal, because she unknowingly had what is called

>> i did, personally. my wife didn't, but i did. i had a feeling i would be dealing with it for a long time. >> he has an attorney who is still trying to get baltimore county or baltimore city to compensate him for his losses, but he said the attorney has not had any luck getting the right paperwork from the county or the city to get that process rolling. >> it took dozens of firefighters to battle a two- alarm fire in northeast baltimore tonight. smoke was seen coming from a home on anthony avenue around 7:20 p.m. this evening. a department spokesperson said the fire started in the basement and then spread to the first four. he says no one inside the home was hurt, but one firefighter had to be treated at a hospital for minor injury. >> the firefighter was injured outside the dwelling, not during fire fighter tactics. the is got inside and the

outstanding job of extinguishing the fire in a rapid manner. >> the cause of the firm remains under investigation. harford county is mourning the loss of a teenager who was hit while crossing the street and killed. according to police, the boy was in the crosswalk at red pulp wrote while there was a no crossing signal. he died at a local hospital. tonight there are posters and flowers at the scene, and friends came by to pay their condolences. >> i was in a couple of his classes in seventh grade. it was my best friend. >> police say the driver stayed at the scene. there is no word of any charges being filed. a deadly assault on a woman in her own home in baltimore city. police say it happen last night in the 1500's block of north

streaker street. cecilia mitchell suffered head injuries and was taken to shock trauma where she was pronounced dead. an overnight shooting in part bill has a man in the hospital tonight recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg. baltimore county police are still in investigating this incident that happened just after midnight. -- officers said the 26-year-old victim is recovering at sinai hospital and police gave no word on a possible suspect or motive in the case. the final six could be just hours away -- final fix could be just hours away for the -- forbp. officials say cement that was pumped into the well has now set and there waiting for one test to confirm that the well is permanently plug.

and every year. organizers say it attracts more than 30,000 guests each year. covering the nation, at least six people were killed in new york when a church van crashed about 50 knots northwest of manhattan. you can see the overturned van here on interstate 87. the accident shut down all north bell lanes. several people had to be hospitalized, some of them in critical condition. toyota has reportedly reached a settlement in the suit over a family that was killed in a crash last year that was allegedly called -- caused by a faulty gas pedal. the l.a. times this toyota reached an agreement with the victims' relatives and will disclose the settlement on monday. in august 2009, a california patrol officer and three family members or killed when the gas pedal in their lexus got stuck in a format. that crash led toyota to recall millions of vehicles to replace

there, cool temperatures, and it will only -- a cool front will push through here. we will see another nice day tomorrow, temperatures a couple of degrees above where we are today. currently 68 degrees downtown, 64 in annapolis, and after midnight, the temperatures will drop more so. today we topped out at 76 degrees at both the airport and the inner harbor. the ice conditions all around. we began at 50 degrees this morning -- nice conditions all around. normally it is 77 at this time of year. we will be a couple of degrees above that tomorrow. tonight will be much like last night. mostly clear skies, when is very light -- when this very light. it is the last official weekend

it is on target, moving north- northwest about 40 miles an hour, to hit bermuda. the squalls are already starting to affect it. it is a large hurricane, with hurricane winds extending 9 miles out from the center. it has 100 mile per hour sustained winds. actual and follow be like -- late tomorrow night into monday morning. it looks like 82 tomorrow here, upper 70's monday and tuesday, then a high pressure will move offshore and breakdown. we will see a herd of -- search of humidity and warmth by wednesday. >> that is a great forecast. >> we will talk about orioles and high school football. we have to set the stage for the ravens tomorrow, and you cannot get enough of that.
