recession reportedly ended. >> the labor market will always lag the recovery. the economic output has increase. the labor market has not caught up with that. in terms of getting by with squeezing more productivity out of existing workers. >> there is a website to help marylanders out of work of finding a job. is the maryland workforce exchange. we have posted a link on our website. click on project economy. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> the news is not all bad. 200 new jobs will be created and the transmission plants in white marsh. this is thanks to a government grant. it was approved by the government. there is good news for a change on the housing market. new-home construction saw its biggest surge in nearly a year.

new-home starts grew nearly 10%. the smaller condo and apartment construction market increased %y 32 >> a security officer said he saw surveillance video and identified gary collins by his distinct walk. the defense argued that jermaine murray did not have authority to be working there at the time. there was a double shooting. officials are reviewing the emergency plan. they will meet with city police to enforce security protocols. police officials continued to investigate their own protocols during last thursday's shooting

at hopkins. >> police are looking for suspects in edgewood. an attack happened before 8:00 p.m. at pulaski highway. the victim was offered a ride home by a woman driving a silver-colored car. she was attacked with a stun gun while inside by two white males. one of foam is described in this composite sketch. she managed to escape. anyone with information is asked to call the harford county sheriff's office. a shipping company is paying millions of dollars to several states for illegally dumping contaminated waste into area waters. video shows crewmembers dumping about 6,000 gallons of waste and sludge into the water recently. it is not clear where the
