there is one incident to talk about. first i want to show you some live drive times. six minutes on 95 north between the beltway -- between 100 and the beltway. no delays at all to report. this is harford road. you can see there is some fog out there as you head out the door. this is 95 just north of the beltway. we do have the report of a vehicle fire in the white marsh area. it does not appear to be affecting traffic. traffic seems to be moving just fine. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> a multimillion-dollar lawsuit in howard county. a family claims the school board did not step in when the child became a victim of bullying. >> jennifer franciotti is live

with more on this story. >> the family is suing for three counts of defamation of constitutional rights. they are seeking $1 million to $10 million. a student at the patapsco middle school has been believed. he was pushed and slammed into lockers and other such acts of cruelty. bullying in schools is a growing problem. baltimore county held their annual school conference this week and they touched on the issue. >> we have a positive behavior planning approach to problems such as bullying. look at problems for make three- problem-revention solving approach to. >> a copy of the lawsuit was

police have found the man responsible. lamont garrison. >> detectives did not have at the time to charge him with these. dna swabs were taken and they were compared to the dna evidence in both of these cases. they were confirmed by our biology unit that he was the one who committed these crimes. >> he is being held without bond. howard county police captured the alleged preppy burglar. he is seen here breaking into a home earlier this month. jeremy hall was arrested yesterday. a tipster saw the story on the news and called police. >> some parents are worked up over the parents of katy perry.

past 5:00 a.m. you can see light fog in the area. setting to is the temperature downtown. the fog will burn off. it is not that thick. 71 in annapolis. 64 up and parkton. you can see the range in temperatures. we see temperatures go up into the 90's for highs. the record high today is 94 degrees. we will see how close we come to that. it is all coming up in the forecast. >> thank you. police in washington say four people are dead and at least one person is in critical condition. shots were coming from a home. one woman was seen running from the house wounded. officers found the four dead people inside, including the

woman they believe is the shooter. the woman running out of the house is believed to have non life-threatening injuries. a woman was burned in a car explosion. she was getting into her car when it exploded. the woman was badly burned and taken to a burn center. the incident is under investigation. >> a wild fire has burned 1,000 acres north of denver. there are no reports of any injuries. the fire is about 90% contained. no word on what sparked those flames. >> 71 degrees on tv hill. coming up, the morning's financial news in the bloomberg business report. >> it is the harry potter craze. we will look at the new trailer. >> looking very nice for your friday morning commute so far. we will

yesterday. the s&p 500 had its longest drop in the month. we saw an increase in jobless claims yesterday. more lousy jobless data weighed heavily on stocks. we have new home sales. we expect that sales were the third lowest on record last month. we are looking for a sign that home sales may have reached a bottom. orders for durable goods dropped in august. we're talking about refrigerators and toasters. global growth is slowing and companies are tightening their belts. looks like households may also be bringing in their spending. the thirding they're desk quarter sales will be less than they thought. americans and europeans are not buying notebook computers.
