here in baltimore, we are keeping an eye on heavy rain coming out of eastern north carolina and southern virginia right now. that will continue to work its way north through the evening so it looks like the rain will pick up here in central maryland. that is why the flood watch remains in effect before the western shore of the bay and through hagerstown. the national weather center maintaining not flood watch. eastern shore not under the watch just yet. it has just been so dry it recently that we can take a lot of rain before the flooding occurs. with that -- we already had about an inch at the airport and an harbor. 74 is the normal high. we made it to 78 downtown and 77 at the airports. temperatures are in the low 70's at the eastern shore right now.

we are right around 70 in southern pennsylvania from northern baltimore county. temperatures in the 60's out in the western sections of the state. was the warmth and that helped to trigger severe storms for a while for the middle part of the day. low pressure knack -- down in north georgia will bring -- will come up the last part of the mound as the coming to the morning. once the showers taper off in the morning, the skies would clear up in the middle of the day. wednesday afternoon, heading into thursday, here comes a new batch of grain. some of that grain could be heavy as we head into the middle part of the day on thursday. some on settled weather until about thursday afternoon or evening. showers tomorrow morning, then some sunshine in the afternoon.
