economic development committee. city councilwoman helen holton emerged from the courthouse this morning determined to but the critical case -- criminal case to rest. >> it is over. today and this case. "she pleaded no contest to a charge of violating election laws. it is similar to a guilty plea except in name. in july 2007 while chairing the council committee that oversees development projects she asked two developers including john paterakis, the so-called "bakery man" to cover the cost of an opinion poll. she made no mention of these. they've pleaded to review pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations. holton was fined $2,500 and

all the evidence and they have to base their verdict on that evidence. the jury has plenty of evidence to consider. jerome williams, charles mcganey, and collins are on trial for the 2008 murder of former city councilman member ken harris. jurors had the opportunity to again give pictures of the car can harris was driving, surveillance video in the shopping center, and video taken inside the jazz club. witnesses to the shooting and robbery were unable to identify the suspects who prosecutors say use the gloves to not use -- to not leave fingerprints. they provided dna evidence hoping to convince them the men on trial committed the crime. they found gloves and a bandana not far from the crime which in -- implicates them in the crime.

the defense tried to show them police did not go far enough in the investigation and that the real perpetrators were not arrested. they urged the jury not to convict the wrong people. the jury has gone home for today. they will be back tomorrow to continue their deliberations. reporting live from downtown baltimore, barry simms, wbal-tv 11 news. >> harford county officials are rested 80-year-old michael jones, jr., after they said he shot and killed the 16-year-old. he was attending a birthday celebration when he and his pregnant girlfriend went to the car parked outside his edgewood,. moments later, jones shot her several times. >> he would give you the shirt off his back. i would now because he did that for me.

cancer patients could have a memory problem. this is a different then chemo brain. researchers from the university of miami surveyed one in 10,000 people and memory problems were 40% more likely in the cancer patients and those without the disease. cognition problems were enough to affect daily functioning. cancer has become a complicated problem for women. genetic testing, yearly mammograms. we talk about some of those issues tonight in "women's dr.." mary beth is a mother to three young children. her father died from male breast cancer and so did her uncle. she resisted the idea of genetic testing until her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer this month. >> her surgeon said she needed

we are seeing temperatures in the 40's. as the sun goes down behind a cloudy sky, the persistent chance of a sprinkle or drizzle. there is a flood advisory up. there are coastal flood advisories with the tide running one or two feet higher than normal from the northeasterner which produced today's storm. the tide will be a little above normal. high pressure is waiting to come in. and will get here in the second half of the work week. this cloudy, cool weather to the west will move on through. it will probably not leave until the part of the storm can get out here and track the storm. the high pressure will come in and start to clear things up for the end of the week. war clouds than sun tomorrow, although it is possible to see some sign. it will be mostly cloudy tuesday with a 20% chance of a shower.
