from smoke inhalation. we want to go to capt. roy taylor in the sky team 11. what is the very latest? >> you can see vehicles coming out of the tube #3 which is one of the northbound lanes on i-95. people that were trapped in their ended up turning their vehicles around and are in the process of clearing the tube. they have this under control. it was a school bus and we have a video to show you of just how big the smoke was -- how thick the smoke was. this was in the northbound to become at least i thought we had the video. right now, both tubes are still shut down and they are getting too ready -- getting ready to open to the number -- tube #4. it is backed up all the way to i-695 southwest.

reporting live, i am capt. roy taylor. >> our other big story tonight come a new television ad by the o'malley campaign complains -- claims that bob ehrlich worked to get slots in this mall. >> 11 news david collins checks the facts. he joins us now live from the studio. >> governor o'malley's new tv ad did open the door for bob ehrlich to turn some of his com -- campaign contributions into an election issue. >> he worked for the casinos to put stocks in anne arundel mills mall. >> they have a license to develop casinos at the mall. they did not hire ehrlich and he did not work for them on this issue. they retained a top aide to ehrlich.

in 2009, they sought his strategic advice of the late in the land -- the light of the land in anne arundel. they say he did not leave any elected officials on their behalf. the ads took place after they apply for a license. the location commission awarded them one. stocks came up during their first televised debate. -- slots came up. they are the operators of dave casino in cecil county. >> the only casino in maryland today supported you with $16,000. >> he did not respond to his statement. according to public record by the state board of elections, they illegally donated $16,000 to the o'malley campaign in august. they have repeatedly said he prefers to see slots at

racetracks. recently he stepped up the rhetoric telling the grand opening crowd at the hollywood casino on december 30th, "i do not think we should be delayed into accepting slots at the mall -- bullied into accepting slots." the maryland jockey club once a slots rise -- wants a slots license. they pumped more than one-third thousand dollars -- $100,000 into the no slots campaign. he supports them next to the mall. ehrlich says the mall location will get the much needed revenue stream moving quicker instead of the we-zoning. -- rezoning. >> opinion polls show a ratings

for the president, federal government, and congress are dismal. unhappy voters are helping groups like the tea party. nicole killion has details. >> tea party voters say they want to restore conservative values. fed up with federal spending and fearful of their rights are being taken away, they joined at the tea party. >> what is happening to this country is a turning point. we must stand up as americans. >> make the phone calls. knock on the doors. >> events like the virginia tea party's patriot convention are drawing thousands. >> usa usa >> it has gained traction as opposition to health care reform group. we killing health care is on their agenda as well as cuts in federal spending. they want canada to share their conservative values.

dennis tetso has always been a suspect in his wife's disappearance. lowell melser joins us live with more. >> it was a busy day for the prosecution as they call almost one dozen witnesses. we saw surveillance video of tracy tetso just hours before her disappearance. we also heard phone messages and conversations that she had with her husband, dennis, and according to court testimony a man she was having an affair with, as well. from the defense's point of view, the have not offered to much as far as returning questioning. they won a motion early on in the morning to suppress evidence concerning a conversation that dennis tetso had about whether a stun gun could kill someone. the state was hoping to use that evidence to show premeditation. >> they wanted to get in some joking comments made by my client years ago about what the effects of a stun gun could be. they wanted to introduce them to show what they cannot show which

is premeditation. >> the state began their case by calling in the friends and co- workers of tracy tetso, all including her best friend talked about how excited she was to attend a motley cru concert. she was supposed to attend with a manchin is having an affair with. surveillance video -- a man she was having an affair with. this surveillance video shows her outside of a drug store. messages left on her cell phone the night and day after she went missing were played, 15 in all, and the majority left by her lover. >> sunday, 6:04 p.m. >> i hope you are ok. you are starting to worry me. i will wait as long as it takes for you. i do not care, okay? i am worried about you. please call me if you can. good guy. >> sunday, 6:13 p.m.

>> a baby girl, what are you doing? c'mon. please. give me a call. do not make me come up to your house. i will do it. i am serious. call me and let me know what is going on. >> tracy tetso's step mother took the stand clamming dennis never participated in any of the group's searches for tracy after she went missing. groups of the 50-100 people would search for traces for over one year. >> during the last couple of hours, the state's played recorded phone conversations that tracy had had at her work with her husband, dennis. they were heated arguments and she accused him of being controlling. these are admissible because they were made on her work get recorded phone lines used for quality assurance. this continues tomorrow. lowell melser, wbal-tv 11 news.

were turning around to get out. >> this is what it looks like on northbound i-95 just south of the tunnel. the good news is they have lain at four open. lane three is still shut down. we will surely would they were dealing with when they first arrived. there were people literally running out of to the no. 3 -- tube no. 3. there was thick, billowing black smoke. only 2 injuries due to smoke inhalation. tube three has sustained extreme damage from heat and smoke. they want to make sure the integrity of that tube is still safe. they have not removed the bus.

good deal of sunshine. a cool 62 degrees near deer creek tomorrow. around the bay, sunshine, and a very comfortable 67 degrees. the lower eastern shore should be beautiful with temperatures around 70. hurricane pollux like it will be a problem for cozumel and parts of the yucatan peninsula. winds are now up to 100 miles per hour. it is forecasted to remain a very strong category two or three hurricane as it moves past the yucatan peninsula and heads toward western cuba. strong winds and heavy surf around cozumel over the next 20 hours or so. the insta-weather + seven-day forecast includes temperatures going back to normal tomorrow, chilly rain on thursday, gusting winds on friday with the scattered storms. on saturday for the boston marathon, a strong dusting northwest wind with a high around 62. >> now, 11 sports with gerry

bob ehrlich says he wants to fix maryland. but he increased state spending by record amounts. ehrlich raised $3 billion in taxes and fees... including property taxes... and a 40% increase in college tuition. and now he's made over $1 billion in new promises... with no plans to pay for them... except for cutting education. cuts that will lay off teachers and increase class sizes. that's not a budget. and bob ehrlich's not the kind of leader... we can trust.

i think we need tax breaks to send kids to college. so i worked for a $2,500 tax credit to help pay for college. fought to get pell grants expanded and insisted that college loans go directly to kids instead of through banks. i'm barbara mikulski. i approve this message. because it's not about the next election, it's about the next generation. right? yeah!!!
