westminster. >> it was around midnight when police were called to this quiet neighborhood for shots fired. they found 48-year-old stephen fox dead in his driveway. >> the suspect told the victim into his driveway and a confrontation occurred. the suspect shot the victim, we believe multiple times, and then went to his former residence to the backyard where the suspect apparently took his own life. >> police searched for hours for the alleged shooter, 51-year-old gregory martin, but were unable to find him in the dark. shortly after 7:00 this morning, a trooper spotted martin in the backyard of his estranged wife's home. he apparently took his own life. neighbors say there has been a dispute going on between the two men for years. what was a conflict about? >> investigators are still putting that information together. the preliminary in permission is

it was a neighborhood type of dispute. in 2007, the dispute was over mowing grass on the other's property. then there was a dispute that occurred involving an assault in 2008. neither of those cases resulted in criminal prosecution, but apparently there were disputes between the two as the result of them being neighbors in the same community. >> state police say they recovered a 357 caliber handgun next to the body of martin. >> the lead detective was on the stand today in a high-profile murder trial. then thistesto -- dennis testo was accused of murdering his wife, although nobody was ever found. >> there was testimony that there were several discrepancies

in his stories, raising suspicions that ultimately led to his arrest. >> as lead investigator in the disappearance, the detective knew every detail about the case and thursday told the jury all about it. the detective first interviewed dennis tetso three days after tracy's disappearance. he testified that he told him he was home the day tracy went missing, watching his truck. he said dennis told him that tracy had returned home from the store or around 2:00 in the afternoon on march 6, went into the home, and then he never saw her again. he then sat around six of 30 that evening he went inside the house to take a shower, and when he was done, he noticed that a tv in the living room was off that had been on, and her friend sam was gone. the detective tech into --

phoned into tetso's records. he went back and ask dennis and he said he had forgotten he had run an errand that day at cycle world in anne arundel county. after interviewing a good friend who worked at cycle world, the detective found that his friends that he was actually at dennis's presidents' day tracy went missing, something that dennis also forgot to tell him. earlier in the day, next door neighbors testified they saw dennis days after tracy's disappearance ripping down fliers that friends and loved ones had posted in the neighborhood as part of her search efforts. >> the defense will have its chance to question the detective tomorrow. we are also expecting that the state will rest its case sometime tomorrow afternoon. we are live in towson tonight, lowell melser, wbal-tv 11 news. >> finally the ordeal for those

has been seen in several studies, despite the fact that hispanic americans are likely to have a lower socio-economic -- socioeconomic status, which normally shortens life expectancy. there is word from oregon that some stylists complained of respiratory problems. the health department tested some products that claim to be formaldehyde frites and found formaldehyde levels to be above the safety zone. it can cause irritation to skin, eyes, nose, and throat, and higher levels are linked to some cancers. the company that makes the brazilian blowout claims its products are of formaldehyde free. the city health commissioner and officials from the maryland department of health and mental hygiene kicked off today's flu clinic by getting their own vaccinations.

verse. winds will start to get breezy tonight. a new storm is forming off the coast that will help to keep the ran away from us, but as it is stronger and high pressure builds in from the west, the contrast between the two will produce winds gusting up to 35 miles an hour. there you can see tropical storm paula on the northern coast of cuba. the coastal storm will actually get stronger as it moves up toward cape cod tomorrow. we will start to see those gusty winds and following the shorsto. a couple of shares will linger into the afternoon and evening tomorrow. that is no we see in to the adirondacks and up into new england. -- snow we see in to the end wrynecks. a pretty nice looking fall weekends setting up.
