about? >> investigators are still putting that information together, but the preliminary if permission is it was a neighborhood type of dispute. in 2007, when troopers responded, the dispute was over mowing grass on the other's property. there was a dispute that occurred involving an assault in 2008, but neither case resulted in criminal prosecution. apparently there were disputes between the two as a result of them being neighbors in the same community. >> after midnight, police were called to this neighborhood where they found the body of stephen hawks in his driveway. he had been shot multiple times. >> the suspect told the victim into his driveway this morning at conflict occurred. >> police searched for hours for the suspect, 51-year-old gregory martin, but were not able to find him in the darkness. shortly after sunrise, they found his lifeless body in the

backyard of his estranged wife's home. >> the suspects body was found in the backyard of a residence not far from the scene of the initial shooting. the suspect was deceased at a time. >> state police said they did recover a handgun next to the body of the suspect. >> juror spent the day listening to testimony from the lead detective in the tracy tetso murder case. her husband is on trial for hier murder, although our body has never been found. >> as you said, the prosecution called a key witness to the stand today, the lead investigator in the case, who testified that he thought there were several discrepancies, and showed those discrepancies in stories that dennis tetso told the detective. >> as the lead investigator in

the disappearance, he knew every detail about the case, and thursday told the jury all about it. the detective first interview dennis tetso on march 9, 2005, three days after tracy's disappearance. the detective testified that tetso told him that he was home the day tracy went missing, washing his trucks. he said dennis told him that tracy had returned home from the store at around 2:00 in the afternoon on march 6, which in their home, and then he never saw her again. he said that around 6:30 p.m. he went inside the house to take a shower, and when he was done, he noted that a tv in the living room was off that had been on, and tracy's trans am was gone. the detective check his cell phone records and noticed that on march 6, two calls were made to glen burnie.

detective went back and ask dennis about it and said he had forgotten he had run an errand that day to cycle world in anne arundel county. after interviewing his good friend who worked at cycle world, the detective found that the friend said he was actually at dennis's residence the day tracy went missing, something that dennis also forgot to tell him. the detective interviewed the man who according to testimony was having an affair with tracy tetso. he said that this had driven to the house of tracy's cousin and confronted him about the affair in a threatening way. the detective told the court on an interview that he had what then is almost two months after tracy's disappearance, he noticed that this was moving items back into their home, after he had told of tracy and the detective that he was going to move out. >> days after tracy tetso disappeared, friends and loved ones organized search efforts to find her body. one effort was posting signs in

her neighborhood. in earlier testimony, some of dennis tetso neighbors testified that that actually saw him removing some of the sun's days after they were put up. the state expects to rest its case sometime tomorrow. >> and other soaking rain for most of maryland today, but hd doppler shows a drying trend coming in to the central and western part of the state. it is still coming down at a steady pace across a lot of the eastern shore and down toward the coast. west of the bay, just a couple of scattered showers back into the mountains. the showers could still work their way through the region as we go through the evening. we are just about done with the storm except for the wendy, chilly weather that will follow it for friday and the weekend. more on that coming up in just a few minutes.

entire state of maryland. the storm is actually going to get stronger as it moves away from us and heads up the coast. on hd domtar we can see the rank hugging along the coastal sections there. it will become a full-blown nor'easter eventually up into new england. there are still some showers wrapping around into the mountain to parts of central maryland. we are not quite done with the rain, but the steady, heavy stuff is moving out. we'll have some chilly fall temperatures. based on radar estimates, you can see that little strip of green north of richmond through southern maryland. those areas will get close to an inch of rain. officially at bwi marshall, about 0.86 inch. the rain was a little heavier just to our south. instead of hitting 68 which

would be normal, we only hit 56 at bwi marshall today and 60 in downtown baltimore. closer to 60 degrees in the far southern sections of the state. overnight, showers and and the skies began to clear and the winds start to pick up, with overnight lows 44-51. it looks like the storm will crank up off the coast of new england by tomorrow evening, drawing in the cool, gusty winds from the northwest. look for some sun and clouds and a chance for a shower in the late afternoon or evening. some of the rain will change over to snow in the adirondacks. it will be chilly fall storm as it is moving away. you can see it remains fairly

steady across the region, even as the skies clear, it will stay breezy going into the first part of the weekend, which may have an impact on the baltimore running best on saturday. a 30% chance of a few leftover showers, and a small craft advisory is in effect. is only in the 40's in the western maryland mountains tomorrow with the lingering shower. around the chesapeake mall, 61 with gusty winds and a left over shower or two. a chance for scattered showers lingering into the evening. if you are headed up toward new england for that ravens and the patriots, one of the factors for the game will be the strong winds coming out of the northwest. temperatures will kickoff and the 50's, but the winds gusting to 30 miles an hour from the west and northwest. lots of sunshine up there in

massachusetts on sunday, but rather breezy and typically cool. tropical storm paulette is girding along the north shore of cuba, south bay and south of key west. it was a hurricane at one time but has weakened considerably and will continue to weaken heading into the weekend. it will become a tropical depression over the next couple of days. wendy tomorrow and cool, 61 for the high, a chance for an afternoon shower as the clouds and son mixed. on saturday, good running temperatures, pleasant to watch the race, but watch for the winds at 10-20 miles an hour. an occasional gusts of 30 with northwestern breezes hopefully pushing people toward the finish line on saturday. 60's on monday, a chance for showers tuesday and wednesday. >> now, elevens boards with pete gilbert. >> arriving in the nfl often
