fire fighters union blamed his death on the city's move this year to periodically close fire stations, a cost-cutting move that they say cost to the man his life. >> this is unacceptable, because they are two seconds away and they could have come down here and done something. >> the brave teenagers rushed in to try to save him, but the smoke and flames were too intense. >> last night i broke down and cried because i heard a man screaming for help, burning alive. it crushed me last night. >> by the time the search and rescue truck got there, he had already died of burns and smoke inhalation. truck 23, the closest station with a search and rescue truck, could not respond because it was part of the rotating closure of fire stations to save money. >> we cannot afford to cut the fire department and police

>> a maryland woman is in hospice tonight after anne arundel county police told her son that she had died. police reportedly went to the home on october 21 and found her motionless on the bathroom door. they called her son and imported her dead. a few hours later, a state anatomy board member of right and notice the elderly woman was still breathing. she was taken to hospital and released on wednesday. three people were shot within six hours in baltimore city, the first in canton around 6:00 friday night. five hours later, police responded to harford avenue where a man had been shot in the face. he was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. a few minutes later, shots were fired in the 1600 block of stone would drive. there is no word for a possible motive or suspects. an election official in maryland

of the great lakes with a letter ahead of it and behind it. it will come through tomorrow dry. there will not be in the clouds or rain with it. we do not expect much change with that front going through. it is kind of unsettled out to the west. monday and tuesday, elements of other weather systems will come floating along and changed things, but the weekend winds up in great shape. a couple of areas that out to the west may get down to 39 but most areas will be in the 40's overnight. not as breezy as it today. 69-73 for the high, but we will not go crazy. a 1 foot shot on the open waters with the bay water temperature holding steady. a big football game tomorrow afternoon up in foxboro between providence and boston.

60-64 will be the temperature range during the game. still a breeze up there, 10-20 miles an hour and may be a strong gust, but they will see lots of sunshine. the futurecast gives us try even with the front going through tomorrow, but by monday we begin to see some clouds drift in. by monday night into tuesday, some rain shower chances form across the area. the forecast calls for 71 tomorrow, 65 on monday. monday night into tuesday, a few periods of rain, morning show wednesday and late in the day thursday we could see some showers as well. >> an unbelievable navy game. what happened? >> the team has perseverance and fights back. we will show you how they were able to pull this one out and show you who came to the rescue, next in sports.
