she expects to lose, lauren rymer describes the attention she has received a positive and negative, local and national, and she continues her hunger strike against foreclosure. she found a spot just across the street from the maryland state house, hoping to tell everyone about her situation and the devastating impact for closure is having on thousands in maryland. >> we went to their office, and we went through my options in regards to my house. >> the agency is to hurt mortgage holder. the options include her paying what sheet of those -- but she purchased the home two years ago using an interest-only a month. the property taxes were paid with her mortgage bill. in the past two years, the tax assessment jumped 55%, causing her payments to jump from $1,500

a month to $2,100 a month. it seems the most viable solution is to turn over the deed to the states. she says she is willing to do it. she will still have to pay up to $10,000 for financial deficiencies. she says she did it get to talk to the governor's chief of staff. >> they are working on the tax issues and why my taxes do not increase, and seeing if there is something that can be done there. not just for me, but also for people who might have experienced that issue. >> she believes she has accomplished a lot in two years of a hunger strike. >> i have gotten a lot of attention, not for myself, but for this issue. i think there is a lot of people in a lot worse situation than me. those with families, those with lost jobs, who are losing their homes. >> once again, the maryland department of housing and community development said it could not discuss her case.
