out of an arundel county. >> a young man has been shot. >> this is still in very active scene. officials are processing the scene and going over what happened. officials say they got the call around 9:00 p.m. tonight as shots fired at mr. wings and pizza. take a look at the video from earlier. police say is that four guys walked into the restaurant and said they were going to rob the place. one person who did not work at the restaurant was shot in the upper torso. officials say he was taken to hospital in critical condition. there was a fourth suspect -- the four suspects took off on foot. there's no indication whether they got anything from the restaurant.

we're waiting for officials to release the victim's identity. they're waiting to contact his family before they release that information. i spoke with folks here on the scene identified themselves as the victim's friends. they huddled up out here at the outset of the crime scene for about an hour. they do not know much information, but they're hoping for the best and that their friend will pull through. >> we have an update on a tragic story that we to go out at 6:00 p.m. >> a 7-year-old boy died after being hit by a car on the 3100 block of oro road. he was chasing after a ball. the child was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries appeared >> and now to the store that we first reported earlier today, the rest of the prince george's county executive and his wife.

instance and $5,000 in another. today, agents allegedly interrupted a $15,000 payoff to johnson from the developer. >> jack johnson was permitted to leave that interview. he made a series of telephone calls to his wife, leslie johnson. >> that is what david says, monitored by fbi agents, including johnson instructing his walk to destroy a $100,000 check. he -- she asked, "de wanted to put it down the toilet?" johnson replies, "yes, flush it." officials retrieved $6,000 from leslie johnson's underwear. >> we still have several real- estate developers and government officials to be interviewed. fbi and irs agents will be

rawlings blake took a tour in a new passenger van. the inspection is a follow-up to a meeting with csx about safety in minutes improvement in the aftermath of an august 5 derailment of 13 cars which disrupted north-south freight traffic for an entire day. their latest examination made an unexpected discovery, water on the ground next to the tracks. one city official said it was something they are not comfortable with. >> it is hard to do the forensics around that and determine exactly the source of the water. but, again, we think we can stay on top of that. >> the tunnel has a history of water problems. back in 2001, a csx derailment and chemical fire caused a disruption for several days.

the rawlings blake administration has forged a partnership with csx to improve public safety. >> i am pleased. csx has been a great partner working with us. they are doing work, improving drainage through the tunnel. they are also going above and beyond when it comes to the safety check. >> they will inspect the tunnels more frequently, increase infrared probe to detect hidden trap falls, improve drainage and install pumps. csx is confident that these procedures will improve confidence. the mayor's office of emergency management is looking to use homeland security grants to put in a radio transmitter in the tunnel and for a portable the police and . they are in the system -- a portable ventilation system.

she is called the $6 billion dog because the school benefactor said he would give the school millions of dollars to build a dorm with one stipulation. he wanted a dog on campus. >> a graduate of the college remembered that there was a dog on campus when he was here. he said that he would donate money to the college to help build one of our dormitories provided we had a dog on campus all the time. >> and so it is. students and school officials say that everyone has been brought together because of katie who roams freely and has her own place to run and play. go, katie. >> that is the happiest dog. cell phone carriers are the latest to go to battle over the hard-earned money that you have. what does 4 g mean? basically, it means speed. it is faster than 3 g.
