he was responding to a call about a stalled car. they found his tow truck still running into him dead in the driver's seat. they are hosting a unique vigil in his honor. they will be riding around with yellow lights in the neighborhood he was killed. his father hopes the event will shine light on his son's death and create an awareness for service workers to respond to calls. >> i do not care if you are the gas man, a lecture to man, the guy picking up the trash. we are supposed to be neutral to the people in these neighborhoods. why was my son gone down for no apparent reason? -- gunned down. >> at 9:00 p.m. in west baltimore and will be on mozer street. please do not have any new leads in the investigation. if you have any information,

call metro crime stoppers at 866-7-lockup. >> in baltimore city police are investigating a shooting that sent a 60-year-old boy in the hospital that happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. saturday night on lexington street. according to police, the victim and a friend had a confrontation with a passing car. someone inside the car shot the boy in the stomach. she is listed in serious but stable condition and no arrests have been made. police are searching for the person responsible for a deadly stabbing in patterson park. he was stabbed in the back in the 400 block of south east avenue. no word on a possible morgan. -- possible motive. there is a late night stabbing at around zero mills mall on saturday. police were called to the food court where an 18-year-old man was stabbed. the victim was stabbed in the back and was taken to shock

trauma, treated come and released. the three suspects are a 70- year-old keyo allen, deandre simms, and another unnamed juvenile. speed and dhaka were factors in an early-morning crash that turned deadly. this happened around 6:30 a.m. on stone road. the driver was driving north on stone when he failed to slow down for a curve. he entered the southbound lanes before hitting two pine trees. he was trapped in his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. >> we did it again today. temperatures made it into the 60's with plenty of sunshine. toward sunset, some clouds are drifting in from the west. take a look at the radar- satellite combo. you can see some clouds in the great lakes, we western maryland, down into tennessee. so this is only sprinkles with a

little show our activity. there are some moderate rains in western pennsylvania. we are pretty dry. the initial band of rain will probably not do anything to us. eventually the rain will catch up and so will the temperatures. the insta-weather + forecast for your weekend is coming up. >> more arrests could be made in the prince george's federal probe. this is according to "the baltimore sun." what has been charged with witness tampering. baker has declined to transition on the rest of his transition team says he remains focused on the well being of the people in prince george's county. president obama returned to the white house this afternoon wrapping up his trip to asia focusing on trade and jobs. he is hoping for more success in the coming weeks with the lame- duck congress session. republican scored big in the midterms, but democrats will still be holding the reins.

brianne more has this story from washington. >> back from a lackluster business trip, president obama is hoping to do better at home. congress begins their lame duck session. she will have to haggle with republicans to get an extension of the bush era tax cuts. >> the bottom line is he wants to sit down and talk about this, but there is no bending on the permanent extension on tax cuts for the wealthiest americans. >> he may agree on a temporary extension or upper-class americans. >> if that is all we can get out of the president, we will work with him on that. >> republicans have time on their side. the tax cuts expire on january and so does the democratic hold on the house. the incoming gop freshmen are already in washington for orientation. they are eager to slash government spending and the deficit. all smiles now, but they're facing some difficult decisions

and tough battles. not just with democrats. the president told reporters he believes he can work with republicans in congress because in his words, "voters did not give them a mandate for gridlock." brian moore, wbal-tv news. >> a new development project to be under way. the city council is expected to give final approval for the zoning request. this would include a walmart, a lowe's and some residential units. some members of the community are worried about increased traffic, but some are excited. >> i will be able to get everything i need. it will be wonderful. >> the project would bring 400 construction jobs and 750 permanent jobs. one california beaches swarming with unwanted visitors. a popular alcoholic beverage among college students is gaining criticism.

>> at least five people are dead and several others injured after it crashed near san diego. police are still searching for the driver responsible who left the scene. reports indicate a car passed a group of motorcyclists forcing another car off the roadway. when that car re-entered the lane, it struck a group of motorcyclists. the driver of the car involved was arrested for being under the influence. the university of maryland is looking at the effect of "black out in a can" and is warning students of potential dangers. alcoholic energy drinks are

bay westward. it clears out in the parts of ohio. here is the cool front. this is not a rainmaker or a big whether changer. this front will stall allowed just two hours southeast. the key is down at the bottom end of this front, near the gulf of mexico off the coast of texas. this will move up to the fraud. that will bring some gulf moisture our way and increase our rain chances. there is a downside chance we will get a sprinkle. 38-44 for the overnight low. variably cloudy skies tomorrow. we could maybe get a sprinkle, but a better chance after sun site tomorrow. it went good job on the open waters of the bay. here is the seven-day forecast. on tuesday, the rain chances go way up. monday night and tuesday, the system comes up from the south that tapers off wednesday morning.
