a cold front is on the move. it will be moving through the state of maryland it today. it will generate one or two showers. we're starting out mild, 50's this morning. 51 at downtown. 54 at the airport. we're headed for a high to the mid 50's today. clouds will thicken up and a slight chance for showers. we'll check out the thanks to giving a forecast in a minute. >> very clear on the major roadways. the jfx is running smoothly into town. a yellow spot through the construction zone. doing well on 95 through the fort mchenry. towards the west side, we continue to run smoothly. five minutes on southbound 95 towards the for mechanic 311 minutes on the northeast side.

the mayor has announced a new task force to find $2.8 billion in funding. >> there is no question the condition of buildings impact the ability of children to learn. >> the task force is made up of this city, state, and school employees. recommendations will be submitted in february. there was a major announcement last night. [cheers] at miss welch -- agnes welsh announced her retirement. her final day will be december 6. >> hundreds converged and demanded jobs. the potential employees are part of a group.

before a cold front passes through later this afternoon. that cold front is generating severe weather through the ohio valley. light showers approaching us. we will have a slight chance of seeing some rain from this. other than that, more clouds and sunshine. that will change later this week. >> thank you. but a study finds a specialist exercise program may improve complications from a deep vein thrombosis. in the study, patients with severe patients had improvement from swelling and leg ulcers. the study was small. more research is needed to confirm these findings. a weekly program appears to reduce the number of falls among the elderly.
