>> two men who survived a roof collapse are telling their story. they tell us and shows the dramatic surveillance video of the collapse. >> we were just drinking coffee and thinking about how great life was. >> you can see them sitting in the dark car. seconds later, as one vehicle pulls away, the root of this garage gives out trapping the two men inside. >> we heard a couple of loud noises. we looked up and the roof was coming down on top of us. we landed on my 1997 honda civic. when the big steel beams crushed us. >> the 3d and heavy, wet snow had become too much. reaching for a cell phone, the two men called out for help. those outside called 911. >> the roof collapsed. there are people in there.

>> rescue crews spent the next two hours trying to locate the vehicle then trying to dig through the snow and debris. inside, the two men waited and wondered if they would never get out. . >> i was asked how i felt the. i feel alive. i called my wife. i told her that i was in some trouble. i told ray did not know if i would make it. >> when they finally cut through the root of the garage, they found the two men trapped about a life. >> they were still seated just kind of hunched down with the roof of the vehicle just above them. >> had the steel beam fallen across the doors instead of lengthwise, it could have been much worse. it is hard to believe from watching this surveillance video and this from above that they got out of all. >> we are lucky to be here today

were in a range for normal. annapolis now 34. cambridge 36. frederick 36. in the mid 20's in far western maryland. for the moment, generally fair weather, clear skies. a little bit of a disturbance to our north earlier today. we had some clouds from that. then there's the developing system out to the west. it is in this area and it is trying to get itself together. one element is the moisture to the south and it is all of this moisture available in the gulf of mexico which will eventually feed the storm coming in. this is moving in different in that this will travel further to the west. it will be not on the coast but west of the mountains. that is a tendency to bring in more warm air. as the storm approaches, monday morning in new mexico, then down near louisiana and will pick up

moisture and head into the ohio river valley. the warmer air will try to come in and dislodge and that is the problem. how quickly will the air be pushed out while the air is coming in? a combination of things will begin to happen. overnight, good, brought the cloudy skies, no. when that five-ton miles per hour. -- north wins at five to 10 miles per hour. temperatures will be just above freezing, but not by much. 29-33 is the range. tomorrow night, we will see some light snow in the forecast and it could become snow-sleep. here is the insta-weather futurecast shoring things beginning to happen later in the day monday. tuesday, this winter remix. the further north you go, the more snow. the question is when will the call their pushout and dean warm enough air to make rain will
