tonight as police work to unravel the devastating details. good evening. tonight, a family is morning after father is found dead inside a closet, his young son by his side. ever found this afternoon just days after police were called to investigate a break-in. shelton dutes spoke with the victim's family and joins us live from the scene. >> officials are still trying to figure out how the victim died, but he and his by-year-old son were found inside a closet here in this home on mary drive. news of his death was too much for his family to bear. he and his son were last seen leaving a relative's home after a domestic incident. >> that is the night, his father was the last person who saw him.

ohio. 27-year-old randall roberts was fleeing police when he jumped out of his pickup and open fire. three officers suffered non life-threatening injuries and roberts was killed. police say they did not know roberts was wanted in connection with four murders in another part of the state. nasa will announce tomorrow whether space shuttle endeavor has been given the green light to launch. it was scheduled to launch of its last mission friday. it was postponed because a heater for the power system was not working. nasa will make the decision by tomorrow afternoon if it is ready to launch on monday. much of the focus today in tornado ravaged alabama was on the missing. a number of people and accounted for is staggering. the death toll stands at 342 right now. war on the story from chris clackum who remains in alabama tonight. >> the massive relief effort

today was a perfect able day. we were pretty much right on the average. the normal high was 69 for this time of year. 48 and 53 the normal low, 47 degrees. 92 degrees back in 1910 and 32 back in 1961. we don't want to think about getting 3 inches of rain, that was back in 1937. ocean city down on the boardwalk at 50 got degrees. way out west, they are still in the 50's. hagerstown is a mild 58 degrees. that will change as the evening goes on and get even cooler, about 10 degrees cooler. winds out of the north at 5-10 miles an hour.

we are not out of the woods yet with the cool weather, but almost. current weather shows that band of showers extending through western and central pennsylvania. as we extend out, we will see why, the approaching warm front that will move into the area sometime tomorrow afternoon into monday. the next system and will most likely bring us start to whether monday, definitely tuesday our best chance, and then ending on wednesday. the beginning of the week does not look too good. as we head into monday, about 7:00 in the evening the showers really start moving in, and heading into tuesday we see this whole band moving in. that is the best chance to soaker.get a sobe
