killed on 9/11. this happened in pennsylvania. waking up to news that osama bin laden was killed did little to ease her pain. she was surprised by a lack of sense of relief. she is honoring her sister through her work with the families of flight 93. the group working to finish the memorial to the victims in pennsylvania. >> they lost their lives in the process, but they saved countless lives. we don't know how many. it's crucial that we help people remember that and we give them a place where they can go to remember that. >> construction has started on that memorial. it is expected to be completed by the 10th anniversary of 9/11. construction is also going to be going on at the world trade center. it will be finished by 9/11.

afternoon. the suspects were last seen on foot running towards the city. the woman is listed in serious condition this morning. no word on a possible motive. baltimore police are searching for this woman. this is a mug shot of a suspect in a double homicide back in december of 2008. she is known to disguise her identity through fake identification cards. anyone with information should call 911. >> a tornado rips through new zealand this morning. the funnel cloud cut across the suburb of auckland. reports of one fatality and other injuries were not confirmed. traders tend to be smaller than those in the american south and midwest. neighbors in alabama scrabbly

>> welcome back. 64 degrees downtown. you see some fog and haze this morning. 58 at the airport. low 60's over on the eastern shore campus. a high, thin cloud deck this morning. we'll see some sunshine filtering through. that is not a good thing. the more sunshine we see, the more unstable the atmosphere will be. storms are getting ready to move into this on stable air mass. right now they are not severe. there across ohio, tennessee. we did the stories with the flooding along the ohio river. as the storms moved east, we have the possibility of getting some severe weather here at home

this afternoon. there is a stalled front off to the northwest and that will be the focal point for those thunderstorms to develop. it will drift all the way through maryland. with the front in the vicinity and we get some sunshine, it is a good recipe for some severe weather. we're in the bull's-eye in the mid atlantic region today for the possibility of some wind gusts over 60 miles per hour and a slight chance for a tornado. that would be this eve team. it will be dry today. later today and tonight, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. until then, it will be partly cloudy and warm. tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely. some could be strong. temperatures will drop back into the 50's. the seven day forecast -- much cooler as we head into the weekend.

the officers claimed the teenagers were providing information about criminal activity. the teenagers were left in remote locations for their own safety. they plan to appeal the verdict. the verdict against the third officer is expected today. police looking for a pair of suspects after a shooting of a woman in brooklyn park. she was shot multiple times on monday in afternoon. the suspects were last seen on foot running towards the city. the woman is listed in serious condition this morning. certain baltimore county parks will be hosting deer hunts. so will parks will be open to a controlled hon. the public will be notified two weeks before they began. no word on when the first hunt may begin.

a couple of things to watch for. there is an accident and route 24 and pulaski highway. maybe some lanes closed there appeared tracking some fire activity longview drive. the north side is running smoothly. 23 miles per hour on the outer loop beginning at 795. that delay stretches down towards edmundson. no promise on the j.f.x. into town. 795 looks great out of owings mills, as well. this is traffic and the west side at liberty road and more delays on the inner loop coming up towards 75 starting to form. this is 95 at caton avenue. north and southbound look great. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. the forecast is looking great. >> the weather this morning is just fine. a touch of fog in some neighborhoods. 58 at the airport.

61 in westminster. we're picking up the high, thin clouds. we will get some sunshine. that is not a good thing today. that will destabilize the hemisphere. we're watching some thunderstorms on the other side of the mountain. there is a heavy rain across ohio and tennessee. as they marched to the east, we could see some severe weather later today. the focal point for those thunderstorms will be a front that stalls through central pennsylvania and back into tennessee. this is the dividing line -- we will be in the low 80's this afternoon. where the air masses bump together is where you get the severe weather. we will be the bull's-eye across the country for some severe weather in the mid atlantic and that includes the possibility of wind gusts over 60 miles per
