critical condition. the community at point pleasant is crying for her recovery. wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m., a school bus head and seriously injured vicki whitehead at furnace avenue in glen burnie. >> that is when she was struck. it turned -- it appears she was thrown and she was transported to shock trauma. >> it looked like the bus driver failed to yield. for students on the bus and weree others workinwalking not hurt but witness the accident. >> we will make sure the parents knew we were offering support to the students. >> she was a wonderful crossing guard and she did her job great. >> vicki whitehead has been a fixture at the crossing and she has been these for years.
