the courage she showed this weekend and how another employee may have saved lives. a round of applause for the bravery of their co-workers. this kfc crew said three of thei r friends survived a robbery saturday night. the sheriff's office said two suspects, one with a knife and the other with a semiautomatic gun, barged in . >> a very traumatic experience. none of us wanted to go through, but we are glad that they are ok. >> when one suspect saw that manager reached for the panic button, he ran over and stabbed her in the shoulder. that is when another employee may have saved her life and his own third >> he jumped in front of her. he scared the guys.

two men that were taller than him -- >> the suspects ran off with no money. when authorities got there, they found the manager on the floor. >> what was for demeter with that situation? >> she was calm and very cooperative. she was transported to bayview hospital where she was treated. >> investigators are taking a close look at surveillance video of the incident, but they want the public's help. hartford county crime solvers is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the conviction. that number is 1888-540-8877. >> a woman remains in fair condition said. it -- at bayview after she was bitten by a dog.

the victims identity has not been released. the dog was taken into custody and is under quarantine it pending an investigation. prince george's county police say alcohol and speed were factors in a crash that happened around 3:00 this morning near the intersection of route 210 and wilson bridge road. a gmc rear-ended a mazda 3, sending it off the road. the driver and two passengers died at the scene. a fourth passenger was injured but is expected to survive. >> the gmc yukon failed to reduce his speed, that and him being under the influence of the alcohol was one of the contributing factors. custody.riever is in he has not been formally charged. four vacant homes damaged after

a fire in west baltimore. flames broke out in 1100 west baltimreore street. officials are trying to p inpoint the cause. a two-alarm blaze in parkville that started in the basement around 2:30 this morning. no one was hurt. the baltimore county firefighters who lost his life while battling a blaze earlier this year is honored. his name was added to the wall of honor at a ceremony in annapolis today. he was killed on january 19. this event otters of fire and emergency services personnel who lose their livesin the line of

duty. two british apache helicopters have completed successful combat missions in libya. they attacked radar establishment. commanders say the chopper's firepower equips them for a successful mission, but there is always dangerous. >> a small arms threat of rocket-propelled grenades. there are number of surface-to- air missiles in theatre. >> the apache returned safely to its carrier. meantime, libyan government officials said nato forces caused damage to a building and injured a child during a bombing raid.

agriculture officials in germany said they found the source of the recent e. coli outbreak. bean sprouts from an organic farm is the likely cauuse.t se. the farm has been shut down. the outbreak has killed 22 people and sickened more than 2200 others, making it the deadliest e. coli in modern history. hundreds of confiscated items from bernie madoff's mansion were put on the auction block. thousands of buyers flocked to the miami beach convention center to bid on everything from fine art to jury and even underwear from the mansion. the event brought in nearly half a million dollars, all of which will go towards compensating the victims of his ponzi scheme.
