we don't expect precipitation at this afternoon. the nearest rain is a large chicago or milwaukee. those storms are developing along a stationary front. it has been there for the last 24 hours. is the dividing line between the hot and steamy air mass which has been setting record highs, and then i smiled conditions in the northeast. -- the nice, mild conditions in the northeast. this will make its way to the east in the next 24 hours. eventually this hot air will move to the mid-atlantic region, but probably not until wednesday brought temperatures are soaring to the upper eighties around the plains states. the set a record high in houston yesterday, 105. it is going to be a hot again, and that we will have a taste of that as we move into the middle of the week. let's move into the topics here. the hurricane center is watching an area of low pressure south of jamaica. not a tropical system yet, but
